Question for those that have fit a C7.5 rear bumper/diffuser to a C7 S-line bumper

Looking for information from those that have retrofitted a C7.5 Rear bumper valance/diffuser into an S-line C7 bumper. What exactly did you have to do to get it to fit? Did you have to trim the diffuser or the actual bumper?

Curious because I found a good deal on a C7.5 rear valance and I prefer the look of it over the OEM S6 diffuser for the C7.

Unfortunately, I haven't seen a single case of someone retro-fitting a C7.5 S6/S7 valance on to a C7 bumper. Sounds like you need the actual C7.5 bumper to go along with it.
I'm not sure how "plug n play" the bumper would be..
We need to commission someone in the Far East to produce a facelift valance to fit the C7 cars!

Yes, but...

The aftermarket C7.5 knockoff was designed for the pre-facelift bumper cover.
