I rotate same side only. I do it seasonally with snow tires on /off.

I should have ordered from you - I had $200 in gift cards from ECS and I'm regretting it. Valve has been lost for 10 days in the mail.

Airmatic never bothered to respond to send me the install instructions for their lowering links. I already have them installed but am curious if you must put it in off-road mode for every adjustment made? Looking to dial in the height once my wheels are installed in a couple months.

Has anyone put a downpipe on their SQ5 with the stock exhaust? Curious to hear how this improved the overall exhaust sound. Any downpipe suggestions?

    Thanks!

I am running stock catback with the Redstar DP 200Cel HJS cat. Sounds great, here is a startup the day after I got it installed last July.

    Where's the aftermarket love for the B9 Q5 2.0T?

Not a damn thing available for this car yet besides a tune and suspension, oh and a turbo muffler delete which I had from my S3 that fits.

I need a downpipe and intercooler!

APR Stage 1 Tune is nice. I live in CA and am running an E30 blend to get the max HP/TQ from the tune, much better pickup than 91 octane only.

I've reached out to APR, 034, and CTS and all said they're stuff doesn't fit.

I did reach out to a Revo dealer that said they've fit their A4 stuff on the Q5, but the Revo site only shows the tune available. Also, the guy I spoke with made it sound like he wasn't sure. I guess I've been lazy in that regard. The shop is far and my wife was pregnant and now we have a newborn, so I haven't wanted to go down there and be a guinea pig.

I recently traded in my '12 S4 for a low mileage CPO '20 SQ5. I decided to skip all the Audicare upsell with the thought that I would have all the scheduled maintenance performed at a trusted shop that handled my S4. How would that strategy effect future warranty concerns? Can Audi refuse possible warranty work if scheduled maintenance is performed by a third party?

Other than taking wheels off any easier way to remove the 2018 stock 20/21 Q5/SQ5 wheel center caps? I see the old ones had a tool kit or a tiny hole to lift it out but not these new circular ones? TIA

I got a real funny/dump question. Has anyone ever used a hitch mount to put a dirtbike on the back of their SQ5, like so?

I just installed the CETE module yesterday. It took about 3 hours to do - most of the time me cursing about where to stick the master/slave boxes and keep them secure ;) And the running of the wire from under the car through the side panel just means removing a lot of plastic. Easy to do...there is just a bunch to make this look factory right (e.g. hide the wires).

Sweet, thanks! Was concerned about the weight capacity of the SQ5 hitch. Basically trying to talk myself out of buying a truck and getting an SQ5

The SQ has a class 3 hitch. You would be good up to 440 pounds (per manual) of tongue weight. A dirt bike with carrier will be plenty under that. The SQ is a fantastic tow vehicle. The brakes and engine are so good for towing/carry. You can also look into getting a trailer. I would suggest https://www.kendonusa.com/. These trailers are great. Fits in the garage (no storage lot fees), tracks well. I use this with the SQ for 500 pounds and up. Only time I personally would consider needing a truck would be towing a heavy camping trailer, or wakeboard boat when load is 5,000 pounds or higher.

I have used my factory hitch on my 2011 Q5 for smaller dual sport bikes and dirt bikes. Have the factory hitch on my SQ5 for the same purpose (haven't used it yet). Both hitches are rated the same. 440 lbs. tongue weight.
My current dirt bike is a Beta 390 Race 245lbs. doesn't behave much different than bicycles in a bike rack. Have a BMW F800 GS 505 lbs. that I will not be using my hitch mount, way too heavy even though the steel motorcycle rack is rated to take it. Use a trailer if not just riding there on this one.
The heaviest bike carried was an old Honda XR250L that was about 320 lbs.

Does anyone know if the fog light covers pop off from the outside? Are they held in by clips/tabs? Or does the whole bumper need to be removed? I had my honeycomb grill installed last week and the honeycomb fog covers are getting delivered tomorrow. I’m really hoping the whole bumper doesn’t have to come off again.

I have some good info/pics on my build thread here https://www.audizine.com/forum/showt...hlight=surftek
Short answer is yes, they pull off. Start from the side of the main grill and pull straight out. It's just plastic clips. If you don't have ACC, you will probably regret not doing them when the bumper was off.

Can anything be done to the stock exhaust to make it “louder” all the time? Little more pops with it? Are they valved?

Downpipe is the way to go with stock catback. Ads more pronounced pops.

Cheapest option is mid resonator delete. Exhaust became louder so did the pops. No drone at all, even when cruising in D in 8th gear. Valves remain untouched.

I've been debating this for awhile while figuring out if I want to order an AWE or not. How much did it run you for them to job that resonator out?

Not really, my wife never mentioned anything and I drive in dynamic. But the sound is elevated for sure, plus you get a bump in performance. She wasn't a fan of my dp and res delete on my S3 since it was pretty loud in the cabin.

I've been debating this for awhile while figuring out if I want to order an AWE or not. How much did it run you for them to job that resonator out?
Did you just have a muffler shop do this or is there a company that makes a resonator delete? I ask since I had a res delete from 034 on my TT.

Muffler shop, there are no after market options for res delete.

Another question I have that I don't see asked much. How do/ if anyone does at all, take into account the depreciation of their vehicles. Specifically Audi's and German sports cars that like to depreciate much faster than say an F150.

I bought my B8.5 S4 with 30k in 2018 and have seen a good amount of deprecation since. For those like Mops who gets a new vehicle pretty frequently, do you have an expected ownership length/ is there anything you do to help combat the deprecation of your vehicle? Are you buying or leasing?
