Need to remove the lower control panel (where the drive select control is) i am installing the Auto-stop delete module.
I have the correct Audi keys to remove it. Right side key went in just fine. It took just a little bit of wiggle and pressure and it slid in. Have the flat side of the key to the outside.
The left side feels like it is hitting something solid. Can not find an angle/pressure/wiggle that works. Just keep pushing till i hear a pop???

I didn't exactly here the click as the key goes in the groove. When you think you got it, give it pull. I kept testing after a wiggle and eventually got it.

Sorry didn’t describe it well. I can’t even get the key inserted past 1/4 - 1/2 inch. Very frustrating!

It doesn’t have to click in! The tabs release with no audible sound, just stick them in a pull the unit out. If it doesn’t work flip the keys the other way. Fought this doing my install also lol. I installed mine and love it, no more starter abuse haha

I had the same problem. Just keep trying at different angles until it finally goes in. Once the latch it unlocked that side of the panel will go loose so if you are pulling and it's not coming, don't pull harder. I fiddles with that side for a good 10 minutes and got really frustrated a couple of times but it will eventually go in. I think the keys are too thin.
