The car is scaring me now considering how much work I've done to it.
I've been chasing a coolant eak for about a month now, didn't wanna say much about it on here because I genuinely wasn't sure what I was looking for... I noticed when my car sits cold for a while I get a small puddle of coolant underneath the car, pretty easy to see in a parking lot. Fully warmed up my coolant doesn't leak, which leads me to believe that whatever seal is leaking is expanding and sealing up when at operating temperature.
I checked the back of the engine and I think it's possible my coolant flange is leaking... Ok! No big deal! A pain to replace but a cheap fix. Then I found where the leak is actually coming from, and I think I might have a head gasket issue... Reason being the bell housing is completely dry and coolant appears to be dripping down the back of the block.
I've been told here on the forum that on an Audi it's never a head gasket... I wanted to ask opinions on how to go about this. The car hasn't had any overheating issues but with that being said, incorrect coolant was used in the car for ~6 months (stupid me) and the flange has already been replaced when I swapped my engine.
Sorry for the poor picture angle, it's crammed back there!
