I paid the same for mine, but have to wait till end of March before they ship from BW. I bought them around Thanksgiving.

If Autoplicity (and TH - same company) show them in stock on their site, why are you guys being told to wait until March? Seems odd. It takes 2 seconds to update a website with accurate shipping info on a known part #.

Ya I thought the same thing, seemed odd unless the disconnect is on BW side.

Sucks, but for the price ill wait. Still collecting my parts anyway.

for those who are ok paying a touch more, but don't want to wait, I tracked some down

still 1 other supplier I was awaiting a message from. I've got a lightly used genuine set coming my way to serve as the interims till my 550s go in with the built motor

Any reviews on Autoplicity? K04 price has gone up but still very good. Also found the Wagner intercoolers w/o shrouds (200001006.SINGLE) for $653

I've had a great experience thus far. Website was good and shipping was good. I had JHM install the K04s and 10k miles later they are still running solid.

They should always be verified/checked before you put any IWG turbo in any car

Yeah I was going to check them regardless - definitely good practice.

What I really want to know is what the cracking pressure should be? What are people/tuners setting them at?

For K04's the cracking pressure is generally set in a range of 7 to 9 psi
Ask your tuner for a recommendation
FWIW- I run K04 Hybrids and have them set at 8.5 psi

I also put a dab of blue loctite and the little clips on the wastegate nuts. It's a pain in the ass to monkey with them in the car.

    A little FYI-
If you want to "strengthen" the bolts this stuff works GREAT---it's made to work on assembled items.

I did a small test with assembled nuts and bolts and this stuff hold as well as the regular Blue stuff.

I jinxed myself! Last night I ran a Mercedes from a stop light, pulled as usual through 1-2, shifted into third and the engine fell on its face, barely any boost and stumbling a bit but otherwise still got me home. Confirmed it was a massive boost leak, the TBB popped off the TB. First little hiccup and I'm sure it won't be the last

Yeah the wicking stuff. I use that on my 2 piece rotors when assembling them to the hats.

Just installed, good quality but took 3-4 months to ship.

Make sure to remove plastic oil plugs completely, the top portion can breakoff from the rest.

I just had this happen when I did the turbo swap on a buddy's car. One bank was smoking badly. Pull the drain off and sure as shit part of the plug was in there.

Years ago, I saw that Autoplicity had a good price on K04's, but didn't order. I think that their price is still quite good, but when I Googled 'Autoplicity reviews' I see feedback like is shown below. I know that sometimes there is a bad review or two, but I would be worried about spending much for parts from them. Maybe others have bought things recently from Autoplicity, so would be interesting to hear feedback from others.
