I don’t know how many TDI owners we have on here, but I thought I would share my recent emissions issues in case anyone could use the info.
Background: I purchased a 2014 TDI with 68,000 miles in July this year. The Dieselgate recall was completed at 54,xxx miles in 06/2018. The second recall was completed in 06/20 at 66,xxx (right before I bought it).

No issues for the first 3,000 miles. Then the Check engine light came on with a P208A code. Reductant pump “A” Control Circuit/Open. I took it to the local dealer. They tried replacing the control module (J880). The code immediately came back. They then replaced the reductant (AdBlue) pump (V437). After a test drive the CEL did not return.
I picked the car up and the CEL came back within 40 miles with a new code of P20E8 for Reductant pressure too low. I had to work that night, so I told them I would bring it back the next day. By the time I got home that night 50 miles later, I got the AdBlue low 600 miles to no start message. By the time I took it back to the dealer the next morning, the entire underside of the car was covered in AdBlue. They decided this time to replace the only remaining part, which was the wiring harness. They also replaced the pump seal for the second time. That was apparently what was leaking. I am guessing it was misaligned when they installed the new pump the first time and was a dealership induced problem that was unrelated to the codes. They test drove it for 90 miles and everything seems to be good to go now. I have had it back for a few days and so far, no issues.

Everything was 100% covered by the emissions warranty.
