I had this grill for many years, but fine steel mesh stared to rust, so time to replace, except I cant find it anywhere:

maybe you could read Swedish, or know some trick.. I wrote them at [email protected], but they never responded.

Can’t help but I want it. Cheaper and more handsome than others I’ve seen. I got some black plastic mesh to make one, but...

maybe, if few people want it, we could Swedish seller to ship all orders to one US location, and then take from there?
for me, it's that "old school" look. I always dreamed of RS2, so at least trying to make my allroad to look bit like classic RS2.

Yes. That. I am doing the badgeless thing too. I just want the grill to match the lower diamond mesh

    Translators?

I took a crack at figuring out the Swedish site. Just as I was looking for a translator setting in my web browser, a box popped up asking if I'd like to translate to English. I was able to read everything. Looks like they ship using UPS, but probably expensive from Sweden. Maybe there's a similar way to translate an email into Swedish. Good Luck.

I'm from Sweden. What do you wanna know? From what I can see they only ship to Scandinavia. Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland

If someone really wants it I guess I could buy it and send it to you. It says the part is on back order. 5-14 days if the part is in stock at the supplier

For post-facelift, starting mid-2001, there is this available from multiple sources:

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/Audi-A6-C5-...4/222265197698

    https://www.amazon.com/Style-Badgele.../dp/B01DZC035G

anything custom made I saw, looks OK only from a distance.

Well, that sounds like a challenge! I am a professional sculptor and mold maker. It would really just be a function of value/cost, pardon my arrogance. Perhaps there is a market, but I’m not trying to beat anyone’s price... yet. This covid may prove otherwise

The only one I had seen like that up till now was 300$

The problem i notice with this one is that it is “honeycomb” and I need diamond mesh. The best way I’ve found to get the right look is to use an ar lower center grill for the mesh insert

Attaching diamond shape (or any complex shape) mesh to the outer frame without exposing globes of epoxy, molten plastic or glue, would take enormous amount of work. Sure, with all your skills you may be able to invest hours of your time, and create a piece of art, as long as you enjoy the process. Anything custom made I saw close up so far, did not look great, even 3D printer ones. Considering pros and cons of shipping from Sweden, ordered a used original Kamei part for 180 in decent condition without rust, from a dismantler. It should not cost that much for what it is, but I just could not find anything cheaper.

I would love to match my hood grille with the lower grilles on my 02 Allroad. I have been trying to find ways to do it.

got the original metal Kamei grill today. Condition is worse than seller described, but salvageable. It is made and looks way better than Chinese copy off the Swedish site.

    It looks like this:

Chinese copy has slightly finer mesh and larger opening for hood release lever, also chinese attaches with screws, and Kamei has somewhat similar to OEM attachment
I repainted less glossy paint (whatever I had handy), removed Kamei badge, and put Audi Sport original badge on the opposite side.
Will let it dry overnight, and try to take some pictures tomorrow.
At least keeps me busy with something while my allroad getting new clutch.

I've had the kamei for years, not a perfect match to the lowers but strong . small zip ties for the rings and badge.

Original semi-gloss repainted Kamei with S-line badge added, next to chinese no-name, also somewhat restored (might put it up for sale)
