That's a neat feature! I've been following this thread and debating RSNAV VS DMP and I think I will end up settling on RSNAV because they have HD Reverse Camera support, and sell them for pretty cheap on their online store.
The 360 view would be a nice addition... I would like some kind of front camera to avoid hitting my bumper on curbs but the HD Rear camera sounds more appealing to me.

As you've said though, both units are pretty dang comparable and really the deciding factor is just a few minor features between them.

Can’t go wrong with either. Daniel from rsnav is very receptive as is the people from DMP.

My deciding factor was the wait time for the rsnav. Dmp had them in stock and it arrived in less than a week:)

How does the screen resolution look? That 480p at 10+ inches doesn't seem particularly appealing to me

Screen is removed, mounting bracket is installed in its place. Hazard/airbag button relocated to left of screen in new included trim overlay.

I didn’t install it because I use CarPlay And mapping apps from my iPhone...so I get audio directions from them. Siri works without the speaker.i believe you need the speaker if you are using the unit itself and google maps if that makes sense.

Rsnav sells one that that will fit into the slot of the OEM version. But its larger than oem. Its 8.8" vs the 7" oem.

I believe so. U can go to their website and check it out. Imo if and when I get one, I prefer the 10.25

I would!! For wireless CarPlay alone.

I’m brushing up on my Android skills. Many have edited there launch screens to some cool stuff!

The support and knowing that the unit has been tested, had the correct software for your model is worth double the price.

What happens If something goes wrong with the aliexpress unit?? Who you gonna call? In China? That speaks English? Who has any incentive to help you?

I would be VERY INTERESTED to see if the actual open all the boxes, plug in each screens, verify each version and etc! Most lilkely they are shipped straight from China to customers!

From what ive told its retaining all the oem bluetooth, so should remiain oem sound quality!

For info, the stand alone interface that DMP proposes is not the last HW update, carplay wireless but Android Auto is only wired, opposed to RSNAV one that is both Carplay AND AA are wireless...

Bruh, that’s a Mercedes. At least find an audi review!

I’d still recommend it. SIM card installed and you have the full google play store at your fingertips. YouTube tv works great. The only negative is low phone audio when speaking.

there is a lot more to this, i wolud like to read the discussion first! But DMP, RSnav 4x4shop, that screen seems to be a lot of issues, so i decided to stay away!

I will get one box from the most serious reseller, so DMP blocking request for warranty is a no go for me. RSNAV also got some cases, but AFAIK they been solved, and updates and communication seems good, regular HW and FW updates, and FB group is still alive.
I was checking Andream but for Audi there is no community like on BMW.

It seems like as soon as I decide on one to buy I see another one. I like the bigger more modern looking screen. I’m interested in knowing if the audio (music) skips on any of them. My current Bluetooth adapter skips and I’m not interested in several hundred dollars and have the same issues. You can find good and bad reviews on all of them if you look hard enough. Can anyone who has actually had one tell me if it skips?

Sorry, while I'm excited about this new setup, the lack of installation instructions seems to be a pretty huge over-look. I know they offer 'video chat' support, but in my book that is a last-resort troubleshooting mechanism. I want to/will do the initial installation myself and it's great to have a fall-back mechanism if I run into any issues, but c'mon.

I wholeheartedly 100% agree with you. Listen this product clearly didn't break the bank but it also wasn't 200 bucks you would think there would be a detailed instruction manual. Neither here nor there it's kind of a crash course. Thank God the OP helped me a little bit here and there via messenger. Along with another forum member.
Thank you again to both for their insight and help.
I will be honest I'm not 100% with the product yet it's about 90%.
I still have some glitches but do have it working most of the time. There are times that it does fire and boot properly.
I'm not complaining, but it would be nice if it worked flawlessly every time.
I'm mostly responding, because if you need any help please reach out, that's what these forums are for and even if you need to have a phone call we can do that.
