2.0T FSI Tiptronic to Manual Pilot Bearing Adapter

-Sourced a replacement engine from an automatic for your manual car only to find the crank is different?
-Swaping your Tiptronic out for a 6 speed and need to figure out what to do about the pilot bearing?
---This adapter solves both these issues. Installing this converts your tiptronic crankshaft to the manual crank geometry.

No machining, grinding, or material removal required. Pull the torque converter pilot bushing and press this in place. No more difficult than replacing a regular pilot bearing.New OEM pilot bearing is already installed.

Installation instructions available upon request. If you are unsure how to remove the old torque convertor bushing from the crankshaft, please let me know. I can provide you with a simple tool to extract it for only $8 when you purchase the adapter.

FAQ

• What transmissions will this work with? 01E, 02A, 02X, 01X... if it came in a B5/B6/B7 then this fits.
• Do I have to machine my crank for this to fit? No, the crank does not need have any material removed
• What bearing does this use? This uses the OE bearing part# 056-105-313c.
• Do you sell a bushing to convert a manual style crank to an automatic? No.
• Does this work on my VW engine? The only VW application is Passats 1.8t’s that we’re mated to Tiptronic

The design is mine. I personally did all the prototype machine work to prove out the product and lock in the tolerances. The production versions are machined on a CNC lathe.

If the engine was originally mated to a ZF 5HP19 (tiptronic) then this will allow you to convert that engines crankshaft to a manual (pilot bearing) configuration. Yes, it works with the 5 and 6 speed Audi AWD and transaxles

This will convert the auto crank from the longitudinal 4cyl 1.8T and 2.0T that were mated to the ZF HP19F series transaxles (1996-2009) to a manual configuration. This is the Audi B5,B6 and B7 chassis. On the VW chassis it is the B5 and B5.5 Passat 1.8t engines.

On the 2.0T B7 (EA113) it fits the North American BPG/BPY engine. It is really about what the engine came out of and not the engine code.

So I have a manual 6spd and the engine code for that is a BPG I found a quattry automatic that runs the same engine too. I found that odd. But I have purchased this a few years back when I broke a rod on my b6. Now on the wife's b7 the engine seized. I have this part already jusy need to find it. If I can find it ima order one next week as that's that's the engine will be ready.

Don't forget BWT. I thought the only codes in NA b7''s was BPG(early) and BWT(late models).?
