There are different versions of the key so regular probably just means non proximity key (opens doors when you get close). Not the actual metal key portion that is only used to unlock the car. Yes, I should have been a little more clear. I had the key cut to open door only and the fob has to be held against center console to start the car. There's a clear difference in the pcb's when they keys are opened up.
