Well, going to need new tires as mine are looking severely cracked.

Running OEM staggered wheels with 255/30/19 tires right now. They came on it when I bought it last month.

I like the wide tire look. Any reason to not stick with this size? I know many go 245/35/19, but rather keep the wider tires if no reason not to.

Took advantage of the nice weather and renewed my summer wheels for the upcoming season!

o washed with Dawn power wash
o sprayed with Simoniz iron remover
    o Mothers clay bar treatment
o washed with Adams strip wash
o spot polish on the flat surfaces with my micro polisher
o final clean with homemade IPA panel wipe
    o Adams ceramic coating

I had so much ceramic coating left over that I decided to treat my newly acquired struts and springs ... should keep them looking nice with a simple pressure wash. When I switch them over ... I'll give my winter wheels the same treatment before storing.

Daaang I want one of the wheel roller things, nice work! Nothing like fresh and clean under-body parts

Replaced the timing chains on my A3 with a kit from ECS Tunning. To my surprise the chain was not stretched at all at 162k miles. The guides were worn a little.

Freshly tinted and washed. I also recently did the 034 engine and trans mounts, upper timing cover gaskets/seals - all 5 of them. I also did an oil change and PCV with fresh oil cap at 95k miles. Should be good for a long while.

My goal is to keep the car and see how many miles I can get it to. I am planning on replacing the turbo at some point, the fins are a little chewed up on the cold side for who knows what reason.

I gotta say, for a 8 year old car she looks real good all shined up.

    Looks stunning!

By upper timing gaskets and seals, do you mean: the upper timing cover (side), associated cam seals (2 of them), top timing cover? I’m not sure what the 5th seal is that you replaced

You have cover gasket, 2 cam solenoids seals and 2 o-ring seals on the cam bridge. I just replaced all 5 when installing new timing kit on my A3.

Turbo fins chewed up...it from dirt and debris hitting them...did the car have a cone filter setup? Or an issue with the OE airbox and filter allowing dirt to bypass the filter?

Yup. The dealership did a full "service" and replaced the air filter according to carfax. When I pulled the APR intake the filter was literally disintegrating. Put a new filter and noticed the fins. Disappointing but I've heard of the IS38 OEM turbo's having some issues with wastegate stuff I think. The HPA OEM+ is supposed to be a real stout upgrade that will last probably as long as the car.

So the APR setup allowed in dirt...which explains the turbo fins.
Hpa's turbo has.a 2mm larger diameter turbine shaft. This is in an effort to help if and when the is38 is maxed out while boosting. The is38 cannot withstand high boost for extended periods of time. The hot side turbine bearing siezes...the shaft breaks and the hot side impellar jumps into the converter along with allot of oil. My first OE is38 lasted 183,000 miles with a stage 1 tune. 24psi. Allot of tunes turn up the boost higher. If your not going abive stage 1...the oe is38 will survive as long as you dont run it at full boost for extended periods.

Well I peak at 22 psi on my OBD gauge reader, I eventually plan to go "stage 2" with a downpipe. I don't run it at high boost for extended periods either way, this is my daily and it does not get autox or tracked, I don't have the insurance for that nor do I want to. I'm looking for super high mileage and ultimate reliability, some occasional street abuse, a launch from time to time that kinda stuff. I prefer partial boost sounds and performance anyways.

Replaced the primary O2 sensor after catching 3x P0131 codes (no CEL). The stock sensor looks pretty rough at 79k miles. Also knocked out an oil change while I was at it.

It's a FitCamX. If you have an Audi S3 8V is Camera Model: HD2-7708 (Model-A). It comes with everything you need. Do the install with the car off, Used the provided pry tool and remove the bowl trim and the other part. The camera piggy back from the rain sensor. You unplugged the rain sensor and plugged into the camera harness and from the camera harness there's a plug that goes back to the rain sensor. That's it. Then you put the camera bowl in place that is the tricky part. It took me several tries until it slot in perfectly, then put the last part to hide the cables and done. You download the app, turn the car on search in your phone for the camera wifi the instructions tells you the WiFi name and password and that's it the app has settings for image and sound and other stuff I'm not familiar. I bought a lens that is an extra accessory is a anti-glare. The app is very easy to use. There's plenty of install tutorials if you search in YouTube.

Replace the undertay with this new one that covers all the way down to the dog bone. Install new front lip that was the victim of snow . Install front strut brace, and the prop shaft alignment kit.

The aero covers are easy to install, you have to remove the two 8mm spreader rivets to remove a small plastic cover in order to install the new ones and reused those rivets again. They're held in place by 4 rivets. Two on the bottom and two on top.

For the undertay you will need to buy 3 Combination Torx M8 Head Bolts Part #WHT000729A the others torx screws you can use the ones you already have.

Put together a baffled and wire meshed DQ500 breather can for $35. Need to get M4 bolts for the mounting bracket, maybe paint the SS bracket black if I feel like it.
Instead of using the generic catch can's inlet/outlet, I'm using the bottom drain port as the inlet and the filtered top as a breather. (Which connects to the part with the brass mesh filter)

Then I need confirm correct hose sizing, paint my bracket black, and I'm good to go for the install.

Installed APR ignition coils and I've successfully installed my DIY $35 DSG catch can. Used an 8mm ID nitrile rubber hose.

I gotta say, the can looks pretty good.

Got a TVS Engineering Stage 2+ transmission tune installed, it's amazing. It made the DQ500 so smooth and refined, no rough shifts even when gunning it in Dynamic, just lightning fast and smooth shifts.

Received my DS1 today too, will install the stage 1 93 AKI tune tomorrow.
