Drove it 250 miles. San Francisco -> Point Reyes -> Santa Rosa then back. Took it like a champ; the stretch from highway 1 on the coast to santa rosa through guerneville is really fun

Parallel parked it, in front of some mall shops we have, thinking I would have a pretty nice car up front. Only for a completely modded Supra and Subaru park next to me after.

    Very nice to see those.

That is a nice drive. I did it a few years ago in a rented mustang convertible. From SF to San Jose. Worst day of “work” ever.

Where I live, modded Subarus are a dime a dozen, and most of the Audis around are Q’s, so my black on black S line tends to stand out.

Look at it out the window.

Not driving much these days, still trying to stay in the house as much as possible.

Not that I miss the traffic at all, but I kind of miss driving to and from work every day.

I know what you mean. Since I started working from home I got my tune and paddles in, but going to the grocery store doesn’t give much chance to really try them out.

Cleaned the stock exhaust tips with spray wax. It's amazing how this removes the soot.

Swapped out the 18"s I bought it with for some 19" S4 Flower wheels I picked up this morning. Need to find a proper cleaner for the flower wheels, looks like the type of finish that can be damaged easily from the wrong cleaner and might need more then just the car wash soap.

Unfortunately, yes. It’s regularly 110+ where I live in the summer. Definitely need to invest in one, but waiting on a decent deal. Yesterday was the only time I noticed any type of heat soak. Car was fine majority of the time, but back to back runs weren’t amazing. My friend’s Challenger, which normally I would easily get far ahead, was keeping up pretty decently, and on one run he passed me around 130.

I think Modded Euros has a sale going on now, and good deals pop up here in the classifieds but you gotta be quick on those.

Not today, but Friday on the last day of Uni sale, bought their intercooler. Now I wait for days for it to get here and install it. Looks like I’m gonna have to work from home for a while, so no rush, plenty of time to tear my car apart and put it back together.

Washed and cleaner waxed the car. Threw my new Uniden R3 radar detector in. ( I was always a passport guy but it was a pretty good deal on the refurbs on ebay ) I am slightly frustrated because I think I may have damaged the finish on the OEM S4 flower wheels I just got. If not I will definitely need to put some elbow grease along with some research into them. They seem to speckled with some sort of water spot from the cleaner I used.

I wonder if the RS3 shocks are the difference there.

I ran H&R Super Sports with stock A3 shocks/struts and it was downright unbearable.

Glad it's working out better for you.

Replaced the plate bracket since dealer jacked it up putting their frame on it. And washed in and out of course.20200719_193040.jpeg

Glad it's working out better for you.

How short did you cut your bump stops?
The H&R springs are noticeably stiffer than the 034's they replaced...but so far not so bad I need to replace them...

Not sure about the RS3 shocks...as they were removed from a 1st Gen USA RS3 and their part numbers dont come up on Audi USA sites...

I cut the bottom ring off the bump stops...left 2 on. The H&R springs look to coil-bind before allowing the shock to bottom out...

So far I like the H&R's...but see a set of Biletein Sport shocks in my future. As I'm thinking the springs will wear out the OE shocks faster than RS3 springs would...

The RS3 springs I got with the shocks...are identical to my removed S3 springss.
