Maybe speak with an exhaust shop and look at putting a different resonator in, like a bottle res?

I installed today but so far, I'm very surprised. Is quiet on comfort and auto mode. No Drone whatsoever despite my set up. Nice sound and loud enough on dynamic and manual and No Drone. I was expecting to had to install a vibrant resonator. But no need.

I might put the AWE SWITCH PATH chrome tips for sale. Because I'm not using them. I'm using carbon fiber tips.

I'm still learning how to reply here lol! I answer in a new msg.

Uspmotorsport downpipe de cat. And the switch path. 3 Inch all the way. And is not loud at all in auto or comfort. Even in dynamic or manual it only gets loud pass 3,500rpm I believe...so you can drive in manual still without making noise. And it gets loud at wot...as it should. Seems to me the awe butterfly valve respond to the throttle input. So it will not fully open unless you are hard on the gas or reach a certain rpm. I like it.

Installed a diverter spacer, muffler delete, and Milltek non-resonated catback. Starting month 3 of waiting for my intake to restock.

    Why?
Just get a 3” turbo inlet and silicone hose, open up the driver’s side of the air duct, add a drop in filter and call it done.

    I appreciate the suggestion.

I previously considered that option. In the end, I got a solid deal on a particular intake that I liked. Its a bit frivolous, but I wanted to splurge a bit on this car while its still low mileage.

None on the front right now. The reverse staggered Rs3 wheels are half inch wider up front so I just wanted to flush the rears out a bit. I know it defeats the purpose of the setup for combating understeer, but I don’t track the car and on back roads the difference to me is negligible. Though the wider tires up front do help overall in the corners compared to a square setup

Blew the MFer up. What you’re looking at is a scored cylinder wall and that melted broken edge of piston number 3.

Nevermind I just read your other thread. I'm running IE Stage 2 also...but not the 104 map. I didn't saw the need being a daily driver car as I have zero intentions to ever go to a drag strip just not my cup of tea. But curious do nevertheless if the tune is at fault perse...or maybe the fuel quality so many variables.

I have been IE stage 2 for a little over a year. 93 octane. Car doesn’t get beat on. I’m nearly 40 so I’m no kid. I went to the drag strip and made 3 passes. In preparation for that I emptied the tank and put MS109 in it. It’s one of 2 recommendations from IE. The other being Sunoco 260GT+. Flashes the 104 file and drove 1 hour to the track. Made my passes. All 11.60s at 116. Drove one hour back home. CEL and running rough around the corner from my house. This is the outcome. Warranty? lol No. TD1. I’m not pointing fingers. I tuned it so I don’t expect warranty coverage. That’s the risk we take. But wtf caused it? Not sure. Fresh plugs (RS7 plug as the other NGK race plug is on national backorder). Fresh oil. Fresh race gas. I have logs from my passes that look good.
