Not so good with the video editing, but I threw this together quickly. Cold start, then a warm start, then a few revs from idle after driving, a small drive by and interior noise while accelerating with the front windows down.

New tires came in. Now I have to find a shop to mount and balance. 32,000 miles out of the stock pirellis isn’t bad. Would have lasted longer but the 2 rear tires have bad signs of wear on the outside edges.

Yes, there’s a good amount of drone, easily covered with music though. For what it’s worth, I also have a resonator delete, but am on stock downpipe for now. For me, the drone isn’t unbearable, but for majority, it most likely is.

I have an AWE downpipe and res delete. I think the track exhaust would cause too much drone and be too loud. The switchpath exhaust is too expensive at $2k. I've been thinking about getting the MBRP cat back. My car sounds good while driving but if I rev my engine while stopped it does not produce a deep tone.

I think it will definitely be very loud. I have a Unitronic downpipe waiting to be installed, so I’m sure mine will be ridiculous pretty soon. 😂 The AWE is very deep, which is what I was after. I’ll try to get a video of the cabin drone on my way to work.

I tackled some maintenance items on my '15 A3. Front and rear differential oil change. Haldex oil change. I will start full paint correction and detailing after work today. Also scheduled service at dealership for 2 recalls - passenger occupancy sensor fix and evap system leaking fuel. Car should be back to 100% after that.

    Bumper and Fender repaint.

I bought CPO and Audi does what most dealers do...a slap and dash paint on the bumpers to make it look newer. Fast forward 2.5 years and the paint came away from the primer :(

The fender had a dimple on it thats always bugged from a rock hitting it on the forward side, so getting that taken care of too. Here is the driver front inside of a 2015 S3, ladies and gentlemen...

Don't do it!!! I like a loud vehicle, and youtube videos don't give it ANY justice on how loud a Track exhaust with a non-res DP is. I should have known since it's practically 3" from the turbo back. Anyhow, I was extremely disappointed since I just forked out a lot of money for my exhaust setup, to have it being embarrassingly loud. I would get headaches as well too. Lasted 1 1/2days with this setup. I Fixed it by installing my OEM resonator back on and mating it to the AWE. Perfect amount of sound now. If I did it over again, I would probably go MBRP.

Thanks for the info. Do you have any videos of your S3 with the OEM resonator and the track exhaust? I wonder if getting the non-track switchpath exhaust and keeping my AWE downpipe would work or still be too loud. I like that you can still control the valves on the switchpath but I don't like the nearly $2k price. MBRP seems like a good choice and has a great price but that gets rid of the valves completely.

I added some intake mods to go along with the inlet elbow and intake pipe.

Added a high flow filter, snow screen delete, removed the trim behind the grille, and opened up the driver's side plastic thing. Didn't add any HP because it didn't come with any stickers however.

I opened a spot in the top of the grille too. Next time I have the front off I’m going to try to fab up tube or something to direct the air in.

The mesh cover is from a $5 desk organizer from Target.

I know i have one from inside the cabin if that helps at all. I need to make a clip from the outside. Maybe when i'm at my buddies place because I know my girlfriend wont want to do it!

Okay, was looking and I have one from a cold start, none with the engine under load for the time being.

I had a MBRP exhaust on my car for less than 48 hours. Couldn't stand the sound! Had it combined with an APR downpipe & car sounded like a trombone driving around in comfort and was WAYYY too loud in dynamic. A lot of my friends loved it but its not my taste. Getting a valved exhaust next time.

Doing my first car show next weekend. Spent the morning with the DA and some Turtle Wax swirl remover.
Next Saturday will be the black car wax and polish.
    Pictures then.

Looks good! How did you get that Maxton Design diffuser to work on a North American S3? I bought one from Maxton Design England and it wouldn't fit because it's made for the European sportback S3 which has a different lip. It was a huge headache and I ended up selling it for loss on eBay. I ended up getting the EMD diffuser. Where did you buy those carbon pieces above your fog light area?

Mmmm I noticed is was not flush as I wanted. But nevertheless I made the ****** work lol!. I still need to work a bit more with a Dremel to make it flush. The carbon fiber parts I got them from Vicrez.com but they came a bit scratch and I had to wait 4 weeks because even do they told me it was in stock it wasn't. But if you look on AliExpress or eBay you can find them of you have the patience that I didn't to wait till they arrive from China still I ended up waiting for 4 weeks.

Unitronic catted downpipe, APR catch can and intake installed today. Can’t really hear the intake at all. The downpipe, paired with a resonator delete and AWE track exhaust make the car ridiculously loud now. Undecided if I should put the resonator back in. When slowly accelerating between 2-4K, the car sounds almost Civic-y, but not as trashy. But under hard acceleration and shifting, I like the tone and the gunshot DSG farts.

    APR Stage 2 tomorrow.

Love those! Where did you get them? We’re they reasonably priced?

Took the wheels off so I could drop them off tomorrow to get new tires mounted. Figured I’d do a visual inspection while I had the car in the air. Found that the rear main seal is leaking again and the bottom of the water pump looks wet. Rear main seal was replaced less than a year ago under warranty.

I bought them from a member here. If you pop over to the S4 group you can probably find some.

They were a lot cheaper than I thought they would be.
