Changing spark plugs based on time

I have a 2015 S5 with 31k. Is it advisable to change the spark plugs based on age vs miles at this time?

Just looked it up. 6yrs or 55k miles. Which ever comes first.
Than after the first spark plug change, 60k or every 6yrs which ever comes first. So I guess I'll be doing my spark plug change next yr

    I don't think it's needed, however, it's probably not a bad thing.

I changed my spark plugs right around that mileage on my RS5, as it had been 5 years and it was going to be needed at 75,000kms anyway, so good preventative measure, and a little better performance when I did my carbon clean. That way, I also know 'all' the maintenance is done (trans, diff, oil, plugs, injectors, carbon clean). The only thing left is the ignition coils.

Thanks for the replies! I kinda thought it was overkill even being 5 years old. However I do have a slightly rough idle, which could be a number of things but figured doing the plugs couldn’t hurt.

I only change based upon mileage, unless the time frame was considerable.

These cars are very hard on plugs, we recommend changes plugs on tuned cars every 25k miles if not sooner. At 31k even on a stock car it would be worth it.

While I have your attention would you recommend changing the engine air filter at 31k as well?

Change it when it's dirty. Let's not overthink the simple things.. But yes, at 31k you should need a new air filter. I'd say at least every 20-25k.
