It wouldn't be hard to swap in the B&O amp and speakers at all, if you're familiar with car audio work at all. You'll need new sail cards with the holes for the 1" tweeters, but I'd expect the rest to be the same. Checking, the rear deck cover is the same for 9VD or 9VK (though only 9VK has mids mounted in the rear deck).

If you're looking for an already developed system to just drop in, B&O is an upgrade over the non-B&O. But if I was going to dig into the car and change stuff out, I'd be more apt to swap in some good aftermarket equipment. Since you have MMI, you'd need a MOST bridge to get outputs to send to normal aftermarket amps, but these do exist.
