Trying to replace the orings for the electrical connector on a 6hp19 trans. I have the connector loose but it is hitting the valve body and won't come out. Any tricks to getting it around the valve body?

I believe you have to remove the valve body completely to get that connector out. There are quite a few videos on YouTube if you search around.

If I remove the valve body are the gaskets reusable? Anything else I should be careful with when pulling it down?

This kid does a pretty thorough video on the 6HP19 on a BMW. Ours is slightly different due to Quattro, but I believe the internals are essentially the same. Perhaps it will be useful?

that oring can only be replaced if you pull out the valve body, unlike BMW where it can be done without. I've had both gearboxes and there are some differences between the two. If you do remove the valve body also replace the rectangular gasket and the rubber tubes, 3 of them if i remember well.

Where do I find the rectangular gaskets and rubber tubes? I can't find them anywhere.
