Have audi A4 2009 115k miles bone stock, which have a cylinder misfire #3. Replaced the spark plugs, and coils.still the same problem. Check for spark on all coils and they are getting spark. Did a carbon clean up, by taking the IAT sensor from the intake manifold ( using seafom) , seen to run better while i was doing it, alot of smoke, thought it will be better. No, still have the same misfire lol.
At this point i been checking forums and no luck, any help!! Thankss👍🏽🤟🏽

Injectors are actually a SUPER common problem. Sticking open or sticking closed. That would be my bet. Granted we have piston ring issues but that itself usually doent cause issues. Have you had chain and tensioner replaced yet?

Most likely the injectors. I had issue like you...i was on the freeway, accelerated and misfired. Change coils and sparks, and did carbon cleaning. My high pressure fuel pump was toasted too which overworked my injectors. They are toasted. With injectors replacement, might do a manual scrubbing to remove all carbon. I just hit 158k. 2011 A4 bone stock. Now i need to change my suspension set up..my rear shocks are bad apparently according to Audi. I’m running solowerks.

    Hope it helps!
