How much power can a B8.5 A4 handle?

I'm trying to plan out what i want to get done to my 2016 B8.5 A4 performance wise. I plan on bringing it up to ~400 whp but i haven't been able to find any reliable information on if I can bring it up to that level and beyond. I don't know if i'll need to build out my bottom end, get a new differential/CV axles, etc, to get it to that power level or higher.

Thought i'd ask rather than find out the hard way.

Just checking, I know 2016 is an interchange year. You likely won't have an easy time hitting 400whp in that car, as there is nothing really out there to support that except a custom build which costs probably as much as the value of the car if not more. You can however make an easy ~300whp with a K04 upgrade and associated tune and supporting mods.

Blue water (in Denver) did an EFR big turbo on a B7 that can hit 30psi and also run E85, I believe it was tuned by United Motorsports.

The B8.5 has a number of limitations that make getting to 400whp challenging.

There appears to be a hard limit on boosting above 24-25psi where the ECU closes the throttle. I only know of APR overcoming this and it was a “one off” development car.

If you were able to overcome the above you would need stiffer valve springs to keep “valve float” in check when running up to 7k or beyond while running high boost.

Fueling, APR made it work with spec injectors, I know of another that utilized a fifth injector, replacing the stock one on a flex fuel car.

Rods/pistons/rings-Your going to be at the edge of all of these, some fail at stock levels others last for 80k tuned but few venture beyond K04.
