Yes there is, you can send yours to be built. It's hard to give an estimate what cores are worth until I have them in front of me. I've burned myself couple times on it and hurt my bank account, so I'm done with guesstimates.

A lot of things can be an issue on 20yrs old headlights.

dang man, i know this thread is really old, but are you making and selling headlights ? i need a set for my rescue car i just picked up.. And id rather support a person than have to order them online
Thoes smoked ones are sick, throw some HID in there, and they would be sexy. im not even sure if my car originally had HID's as i have no headlights lol i think i did see a ballast in there tho
i need the grill too, but the hood is kinda messed up, so thinking about my options

But let me know, im kinda in a need for the headlights tho :) so i can send you my 1 remaining one.,.

I might just go buy the passenger side headlight and get out the old buffing wheel, and nite shade tinting spray

You can send them over and I can make them up to your liking.

Do NOT tint lens with nightshade, NO.

Ordered replacement headlight lenses from China for my allroad and the ones that come almost an inch shorter, otherwise shape looks correct. Should I assume they for facelilft C5, and post them for sale here?

Probably...there's two options, pre and facilitie so far I've seen. No widebody option.

Bottom mounts broken on some of them, wires have cracked insulation (like most of them), maybe few parts missing, but out of two pairs, one can be made OK, I just done have time, I made a good pair from euro allroad headlights for myself, and don't have time to restore these.

Brand new genuine Audi stock projectors, with Morimoto ZKW-R clear lens swap is more cost friendly option and it gives good results if anyone considering doing it. However it's not worth it if your projectors are dull and not new.

After 3 members on here (I won't mention names, but you know who you are!) gave me a crazy runaround for weeks and certain member for month and a half and just wanished, but is active here on the forum, I still have this set available.
It's my usual retrofit, everything is new and set kicks ass. They're available to ship immediately for a serious buyer.

Just wanted to give a big shout to ChicagosPhantom for a great set of refreshed headlights. In December 22’ when we originally picked up our 02’ Allroad 6MT from its previous owner in Steamboat Springs, Colorado I had discussed a set of headlights with him. After getting the car home and stripped down for a post purchase inspection it became clear to me that headlights were the last of my worries. I had my original set cleaned up and ended up spending what I paid for the car to bring it back to roadworthy health.

Fast forward a few months and I got in touch with him again and finally made the purchase. Because I work OCONUS they were shipped and arrived at my house in Colorado Springs to simply sit and await my return home this past Sunday.

Today I finally got around to doing the install, and they look amazing! I’m looking forward to the sun going down so I can see the real difference in light output these are going to provide us.






These are the third item I’ve purchased from him, as the first two were a tan trunk mat and a cargo cover. Everything has always been shipped well wrapped and arrived in great condition as he has promised the items condition to be. I will absolutely be looking for more stuff from him to add to our Allroad.

I could, but that area is still very expensive and people aren't willing to spend money on these latelt. Also, LEDs doesn't give more punch than HID.

hahnmgh63 these are the best looking headlamps I've seen for C5 platform, I was trying to buy from Chicago & had very tight budget & insurance involvement took forever & this broke the deal as a result #Chicago is irritated with me - so just want to go on record and say sorry & apologize to Chicago hopefully he can pardon my poor handling of my failure to buy previously I really did not intend to frustrate his purpose & waste time but shift happens. Definitely get these will look amazing on your white C5, sorry Chicago my fault your lights are next level can you please forgive my poor judgement during our conversations 🙏
