There's a way, but I don't like how it's done. You'll probably end up with some sort of damage/scratches inside or at least some sort of debrie/dirt.
You have to pry on the Amber and cut it out inside and extract/fish it out somehow.
    Not ideal solution.
Yes that's different, no Amber in corner and city lights.

No amber reflector, additional round projector looking lights (not really projectors) in the corners for Europe only. Some ROW headlight have functioning T10 connector embedded in Hi-beam reflector for running lights. Actual projector inside headlight has a lever to switch between right and left driving countries. Projector lens is different on some models (smooth vs Fresnel lens)

Nice! I like it. I'm not sure if i want to chance and damage the interior of the lights to pop or crack them out so the tint is a nice option, but i think it look good on yours because of the angular look of your car, but it might just be too dark for the Allroad.

Ok yes i see the difference in between the euro and ours now. I might have to find some euros for mine, i really like them and i just outfitted the Allroad with a euro tub, so it would be great!

I used the same lens tint spray on the front as I did on my taillights. There are vinyl options as well that let you choose the exact shade you want.

I would lean towards the vinyl if you plan to tint the entire lens for the durability. I was ok with trying the spray since I was just doing the sides.

Making lens dark is the last thing you want to do on a headlight. Whatever looks you get are not worthy decreased light output, C5 headlights are not that great from factory, why make light output any worse? If you like dark looking headlights, what ChicagosPhantom does is the only safe way of doing it. I opened my allroad headlight to clean and do different mods years ago, but painted them black on the inside as an added bonus. Looks good on my allroad, because car is black.

Agree. I don’t see the logic of tinting the outside of headlights. Mine are blacked out on the inside and I only tinted the outside over the amber side markers.

Thanks V1nny for the detailed description, always good to know! My car is silver so i don't know that i want to go and paint or tint the interior of the headlights, definitely leanign towards the Euro look though.

These are awesome. On a related note, is there a place to grab the headlight rubber trim around? All mine broke and I’m rocking lights without them. I did a morimoto projector install myself, so you modify any projectors on your own work?

I think the usual online stores (fcp, ecs, europa, etc...) still have the upper rubber trims. At least they did a couple years ago when I replaced mine. GAP (Genuine Audi Parts) is a good source too.

you can save by getting 5 feet of adhesive rubber seal from hardware store for less than $2, and cut them to size.

Yes, the v8 options are way too much. Looks like v6 options can go cheaper on eBay but that doesn’t help me. I’ll go with the diy

Man these headlights you do are just completely phenomenal looking. Im gonna have to get a set when I finish my build. For my A6. I gotta finish the engine, and get interior from a buddy then it'll be your headlights. May just send mine to you to have them done. No one else does the work you do. Absolutely flawless.

Would definitely get these for black or any dark color car, not sure if blacked out would look good on white or silver car. On my black Allroad blacked out look pretty good.

These look so fantastic. Have you ever done a set with the LED light bars that newer cars get for DRL? Like these: https://www.amazon.com/Sequence-YANF.../dp/B07CPTCPKJ but, you know, on the inside of the lens instead of just stuck on the top
