Might have popped a connector loose. Have a look around underneath and see what you can find.

This was in my list too until I found out that the Carbon Labs one no longer exactly matches the Alu Optics trim. Does this one match spot on?

Upgraded my brakes to 375mm and 356mm.
Feels a little better but that could just be the EBC blues. Looks better too. :)

Dealer came back and said that I popped some capacitors in the steering wheel.. got another one on order from Germany under warranty.

3-4 weeks of my car yelling at me every time I start up.. fun times ahead.

This setup is essentially the entire system from a 4M Q7 with powder-coated calipers, and custom two piece rotors with ebc blue pads.

I kinda found a place in my heart for the RS5/4M q7/8, when making them fit my b8.5 s4. The size vs weight, pads availability and performance improvements, all lead me to use them.

You can just run the Q7/8 blanks and the performance is still great.

I had a typo the rears are 350 mm. My b8.5 s4 are 375/356mm. Sorry for any confusion.

I can't wait to get my CTS paddles installed, too many other projects. I find the OE are shorter than I'd want a lot, also hoping they reach further to the outer diameter of the wheel than OEs - should based on their website pic.

I hope you won't have the same problem as all other Q7 owners do. The problem is you warp rotors pretty quick, I think it's because of how heavy Q7 is. I've already replaced rotors 2x on my Q7 with 70k miles on it. For some reason I like the stock SQ5 brakes better but Q7 brakes on SQ5 might not be as bad since the car is a lot lighter. I want those SQ7 sport brakes lol

I have done track days with the same setup on my b8.5 s4 and never had issues although the s4 is probably much closer to the SQ in weight. I also run edc blues and ebc yellows and am currently running RS5 rotors, sometimes the pads leave deposits and it give the feeling of a warped rotor when it’s a different issue.

The sq7 calipers would look awesome, but would hinder acceleration and braking with the extra mass. These feel great.

Ahh I see. I bet it's the weight of the Q7, for some reason front ones go out very quick and we don't even drive it hard. My wife takes care of it. I notice it a lot during exiting the highway and coming to a stop.

Bought one! 2018 Ibis White SQ5 with the prestige package. A day before I bought it, I ordered lowering links and an IE intake. Planning on picking up an intercooler and downpipe soon so I can go stage 2.

Just got back my '21 SQ5 Sportback from the dealer after some surgery on the rear end. After taking too long to change-over to black emblems on the tailgate, I also found Sportback fake exhaust panels on Aliexpress w/black tips a few months ago. So I took these Chinese-sourced exhaust panels to my dealer. They only had to lower the exhaust to get enough access to pop-out the old panels and insert the Chinese ones (no broken tabs!) in the bumper fascia. They only charged me 1 hr of labor, and they also removed the chrome emblems and installed the Audi Sportback specific black 4-rings & SQ5 emblems, which I purchased ages ago.

Note: The Sportback 4-rings on the tailgate are larger diameter vs the regular SQ5 4-rings emblem.

    Before:

    After:

For you B9.5 SQ5 Sportback owners, the exhaust panel (3-pieces) is available here:

Starting the chrome delete. Also went with Aliexpress “fog” grilles. Easy to pop out/pop in and fit is good.

Flashed Stage 1 ECU/Stage 2 TCU IE tune. I broke my warranty today, it felt good. It felt even better after driving for ~2 hours, the car is completely different. Comfort vs auto vs dynamic. In dynamic it's a completely different power curve. Huge smile. The IE dynamic tcu tune drives so much smoother than the oem dynamic tcu tune. Both up and down in rpm.

I did the same after I was re-attaching the front bumper after installing the APR IC, as I needed to then reconnect the front cameras on each side:

My tiny dining room is packed full of IE parts, the Fedex driver that delivered them asked be what car I am modding, turns out he's a big audi/VAG guy.

Hopefully have everything installed in the next few weeks. Should be a fun summer with the new turbo.

The quickest mod ever, about a 30 second install.

Engine bay needs a cleaning, will do it this weekend.
