These with the strut brace are probably my favorite upgrades. Always a good time to hit the exit ramp at 80mph 😆

No sound clips yet, but on the "+" side, it sounds great when on the boost, and is tolerable when in 8th cruising at highway speeds. I'd say the only "-" is it has a noticeable rasp during cold start and subsequent drive-off, as the wastegate is commanded open to improve light-off of the cat (for emissions purposes). The few times during a cold drive-off, I keep it in Comfort mode, and apply a light throttle as I leave the neighborhood. Once it's warmed-up, it has more volume over the stock setup, but that's expected when you reduce the restriction downstream of the turbo. With the APR Midpipes, the "DSG Fart effect" is much more pronounced during the downshifts in "S" mode.

As for power, I'm impressed how much more grunt this engine has with the IE DP, and I'm sure having 2.75" diameter APR midpipes only helps to minimize backpressure on the turbine. It's quite noticeable over the stock cat & resonated midpipes.

    All-in-all, it's a great combo.

Pure 750. All of the power related hardware/tuning is Integrated Engineering. All of the mounts, chassis and suspension bits and bobs are 034. IE is local to me so I figured Id give them a go.

Replaced some of the major front components of the B&O system with Morel CAW 683 door woofers, Illusion Audio Carbon C3 Door Mids, and a Morel MM2 center along with a ton of ResoNix sound deadening (I have a bunch of extra CLD Lite if anyone locally would be interested).

The improvements to clarity and overall soundstage are night and day. Bass is way more punchy with less 'boom'/muddiness... not necessarily "louder" if that's what you're going for.

On another note, has anyone experienced the Integrated Engineering anti-lag ECU update yet? I was all but sold on 034 once my warranty is up in November, but IE really seems to be ahead of their competition when it comes to features on this platform with FlexFuel & Anti-Lag. Would love to hear opinions from anyone who has experienced both Stage 1 034 & IE.

for your front speaker upgrades, did you cut out some of the blocked speaker grille for the midbass or did you leave it alone? im thinking the output and frequency response wont be affected too much since its midbass frequencies compared to mids + highs.
