Somewhat of a disappointing day, went to install my forge recirculation valve but for some reason it didn’t fit the SQ5. I had studied the install guide and everything was going smooth but when I went to line up the valve and screw it down it wasn’t lining up with the oem holes. I opted for the black version from ECS. Will reach out to them Monday to see what they say.

Mops if you find yourself at your car, can you snap a pic of your valve installed.

Fabricated a $350 ebay Catless downpipe to fit my SQ5. Fun job. Removed the flanges and tack welded pieces together to get an idea of the angle of approach. Dry fitting it and adjusting was a majority of the day messing with this. I highly recommend you know what you are doing before messing with this....or just buy a downpipe that fits. :)

I had to spend some time Grinding down all the sugar inside the runners for smooth transitions cause i don't have a purge setup and we did the same on the outside welds then installed heat wrap i bought off Amazon for around $20. The metal straps it came with are garbage, ill be getting better straps soon.

What you mean lowers? Fog vents?

I saw the honeycomb RS style fog vents as well and was going to get them but then numerous people said that they will not fit the B9, which just confused me as they do look like the same size but have yet to see one B9 SQ5 with RS fog grill/vent piece

Got my new wheels from Mops mounted to a set of Michelin PS4 SUV tires on Friday and today drove down to Pacific German and had them lower the car using the factory scan tool. I went back and forth between the airmatic links and the factory scan tool. Pretty happy with how it turned out with the lowering though I realized when I got home the back is slightly lower than the front . I will have a set of airmatic links for sale later today for $100

Early birthday gift to myself with the setup and man does it really complete the car. Next up waiting for the Carbnlab turbo inlet and hopefully a Redstar downpipe in the near future.

Also ordered a replacement OEM RS alcantara shifter should arrive in two weeks. This is what it will look like.

PBIR can be sticky but the prep goes away real quick.

Looking to see if I can break stock turbo record in a 12C and break into the 9's which sadly I don't know how it hasn't been done. Are the tracks packed?

Test and tune nights usually 140 tech cards average wed/fri nights. Track prep is always on point all night unless it gets below 50° when rwd slips but quattro sticks!

About 3 weeks.

It took a bit to get out of Australia but then once I received confirmation that it has finally shipped, was maybe 5-7 day shipping to me, FL. Your in CA so probably 2-3 days less

Installed the RedStar HFC today. So far no CEL after 30 miles and plenty of really getting on it. It's definitely muuuuuuuch louder when paired with the AWE system. To the point where I'm probably gonna add some sound dampening as I do enjoy the quieter cabin of the SQ. Likely will start with the trunk and go from there. I'll try and grab some clips this weekend if it's not raining.

Got rid of the stock door reflectors and installed puddle light y-splitter harnesses to red door light assemblies with 194 LED bulbs... Does it make a huge difference to oncoming Laser LED matrix burn-your-eyeballs-out headlights or cyclists with 1000 lumen strobing headlamps? Who knows? But when I swing the door open I'm greeted with a second familiar warm red glow from Audis of yesteryear to go along with the red illumination in the door handle. And...it feels just a tad more premium than a bicycle reflector...haha.

Next up...better grocery bag hooks in the hatch. Lol.
