Heads up if you are looking to buy items in the classifieds. Scott4633 is a scammer.
I posted a WTB ad in the classifieds for Stock S8 airboxes. I received a PM from 'Scott4633' who just registered on 4-18-20. He told me his "friend" had them and sent me his e-mail address. I e-mailed his "friend" (most likely the same person) who goes by the name "Jason Cleverly" with the e-mail address [email protected] and first he sends me stock photos of an 034 intake taken off their website. Then when I told him I was looking for stock S8 airboxes he replies "I have it all." I asked him for photos of the S8 airboxes and apparently he doesn't know the S8 comes with dual airboxes because he sent me what he thought was a photo of one S8 airbox he marked as a "2016" and another as being from a "2018." I actually found the photos he e-mailed me on a auto recycler's website located in the Netherlands! They were A8 airboxes from two different cars (A8 comes with one airbox, not 2 like the S8). This guy is supposed to be from Florida, an hour away from me, not the Netherlands. Clearly these aren't his photos and this is a scam.
If somebody could please forward this to an admin so "Scott4633" can be looked into and hopefully banned (along with his IP), it would be appreciated. I don't want to see anyone here get taken for a ride, especially with everything going on right now!
