After being away from the audi brand for about 5 years, I picked up a DG B9 Q5 Hybrid over the weekend.

I really enjoy it and its only been 4 days! My only gripe is the 120v charge times are horrendous which other have complained about so I am looking at have 240v outlet installed in the garage. I am seeing about 30 about miles real world range, driving conservatively. When fully charged it shows 37 mile range but yesterday we did 23 miles round trip all EV and had 7 miles of range left when we got home. I honestly haven't took it out of EV mode since we got it, only once to confirm the 0-60 times with both motors and boy does it take off! That instant electric torque is really fun. I'm hoping the range only gets better as the tech improves.

I've had the electric itch for a while now, owned a fiat 500e which I loved but it was really small. We looked at the Model 3 which was awesome but still hear mixed things about Tesla ownership. A PHEV just made sense for most of the city driving we do since most trips can be done all electric. My opinion nothing else really compared to the q5 hybrid in the SUV PHEV space, maybe the cayenne but that's much more expensive. I am really glad we picked this up, I only wished we could have gotten the ventilated seats because Arizona summers but otherwise I can't help but drive this thing, feels good to be back in an audi.

Too random for the wheel thread just yet. Grimey iphone snap from the shop lot. V-FF 109 22X9 ET28 Zara Gray, with 265/35 DWS06. I'm actually super stoked with the way the fitment came out. Offset is perrrrrrfect. Ride is totally acceptable as well, and I'm not one to tolerate an overly rough ride. In person the sidewalls really don't look so tiny. I'll dig the contrast for a bit, but ultimately I still think the car begs for darker wheels. The experiment is a success though, and I'll likely move these over to the wife's Quantum before long.

Whoa, I went to the dealer last night to try and see an Ultra Blue SQ5 they had on their website. They didn’t have it. That looks really good, do you have any more pictures of this during the day time? I am thinking hard about parting way with my RS5 and going to an SQ5.

Thanks. There's a pic just just a few posts above in front of my house in full sun, but I haven't had a chance to really take any proper pics yet (and my pics are always of questionable properness). I'm really anxious to see a side by side of Ultra and Sepang to see if there's any difference. As someone who owned a Sepang SQ5 for 3.5 years, my eye doesn't really notice any difference. MAYBE a hint more purple in Ultra, but I wouldn't bet more than a dollar on that even.
