I agree, and yes you are haha! All of my Audi vehicles have been BO spec, and I too wanted to try a new look. But for me, I like to try so many different wheels, and the silver trims limit the wheel finishes that work. But DG w/ alu and brushed clear wheels

Only $14.95 lol. I use this product and its works really well at water beading/sheeting/insane gloss, and cleaning the car is much easier after the product is applied. At my wash interval it lasts about 3-4 months. 1 16 oz bottle does about 6-8 separate applications. https://www.amazon.com/Turtle-Wax-53...s%2C177&sr=8-4

That’s the reason I went for a silver unit rather then black

It’s for the parallel parking assist/self parking system. I believe they added it on MY19 or MY20 for the US market cars.

We still here!!! Back in a blue machine, looks great. Transferring the VFF wheels or going with a new setup?

Aww yeah. Wheels are a conundrum at the moment. Ultimately there will be a set of BCF RZ23 21X10 in double dark brushed. That may take a sec though. For now, undecided if I'll move the VFF 105 over from the wife's machine, or get stupid and throw new rubber on the 22" 109s from the E-tron

Yep, that's it. But it's weird, it's like the wife's SQ has never existed to me. Something about a car that always smells like chewing gum and has debris in the seat extender that just kept me from ever getting motivated to drive or tend to it.

It was just never the right car for me. When I got it I thought that my wife was going to drive it, and I'd take over her SQ, but she thought it was too big and didn't want it, so I was stuck. My fault for hatching a plan before really making sure she was on board. It's a fantastic car, and I wish we could keep it in the house, but as a daily for myself it just became soul sucking.

How do you like the touch screen vs the scroll wheel? That was my one real hang up about the 21s

I definitely prefer the touch screen. I always found the scroll wheel cumbersome. I'm already used to, and a fan of the MMI from the e-tron though. Only thing that's kind of whack is the Homelink integration. The opener is a small icon on the upper edge of the touchscreen. My SQ has the heated steering wheel, and the heater on/off button is basically where the * button was on the E-tron. I'm guessing there's a * button in place of the heater button on cars without the cold weather package, so this would be a nonissue.

My SQ has the heated steering wheel, and the heater on/off button is basically where the * button was on the E-tron. I'm guessing there's a * button in place of the heater button on cars without the cold weather package, so this would be a nonissue.
Actually, I'm going to say that the Homelink integration is officially whack. Looking closer, it seems that the heated steering wheel is actually part of the P+ package for 2021, so no * button (also no flat bottom steering wheel, which I'm glad not to have). So with no hard button option for garage door operation it seems you're relegated to the touch screen. The whack part is, it's a tiny icon, and it becomes 2 or 3 tap functionality. Tap the tiny icon, and it pops up another prompt that you have to tap to "send to garage door". This also then over rides the camera on the screen, so if you want to regain your camera functionality to park it's a 3rd tap. When you're backing out of the garage it's a 3 tap process. One to close the camera and gain access to the garage door icon, double tap for the garage door operation. It's then a 4th tap if you want to go back to rear camera operation after you've closed the door. So dumb.

There’s no homelink buttons on the headliner like the previous generation?

Also no flat bottom steering wheel? It’s still an option here in Canada for the facelift.

I mean, it's conjecture, but my understanding is that heated steering wheel means no flat bottom. My window sticker says heated steering wheel as part of the P+ package - not a cold weather package or optional equipment. Honestly, I've never liked the flat bottom on the SQ5. Seems like it's just trying to hard in an SUV. The new wheel also has the nice perforated leather on the sides. I'm stoked on the steering wheel itself.

And no, there are no homelink buttons on the headliner, or anywhere actually. Though I kind of mouthed off too soon about the garage door thing. You store your garage door location via GPS, so the "send to garage door" prompt pops up automatically when you approach the garage door. That's kind of slick, however, it seems to work intermittently. I think the pulling out of the garage sequence remains cumbersome as stated, but maybe I'm missing something, and more shall be revealed.

Random Snap of your B9 Q/SQ5

Couple other random observations of changes from our '19. New "sport" beams. These beams have always toed the line between corny and cool for me, but I kind of like the new touch. Nav is gone. Available as a software upgrade via the service department, but I was told that Audi has decided that everyone uses their phones for nav anyway, so they're not loading it. Also, noticeably more crackles from the stock exhaust, particularly the 3-2 downshift.IMG_6693.jpg
