The component protection is off. I can use the radio and the sound works, but the "navigation data" and the bluetooth is "not activated" and I am unable to use them. The independent shop was actually really interested on what the issue was. He said he was a "geek" and wanted to get down to the bottom of it. He said it might something to do with the coding but it could be anything. The only suggestion was is to get the info off of my old 5F module or somehow get the information from another vehicle like mine. I would bring it back but they are not open at the moment... and I took it to the dealer multiple times and they claimed to not even be able to take the component protection off, hence why I went to an independent shop and they were able to take it off in 5 min.
To remove the SVM error you need to modify value of adaptation 'Confirmation of installation change'. Use this math to calculate new value: "original value" XOR C9D2 = "New value". So let's say you have the SVM error. You go to adaption, confirmation of installation change, and you will see a code. So let's say you see 410a. You do the math 410a XOR C9D2 and it will equal to 88d8. You replace 410a with 88d8 and that removes the SVM error. There are online calculators to do the calculation if you need to. So you would just go on one of those XOR calculation websites and enter 410a as one entry and C9D2 as the other entry and press calculate. Then you will get the code you need to enter in 'confirmation of installation change' to remove the error. Hope that makes sense lol.
