Front end humming after braking hard (anti-lock activation)

Trying to get a heads up on what may be the problem after someone cut me off on the highway and I had to slam on the brakes. Now I have a humming noise that increases with speed. The rpms of the engine does not affect noise level. It was time for me to change the tires, so I did that thinking that some of the cupping on the tires might have something to do with it. Sound is the same.

Could be anything, so you need to have someone who knows anything about a car, listen to the noise.

Humming that intensifies with speed is usually the common indicator for a failed wheel bearing. What exactly do you mean that RPMs don’t affect the noise level?

It’s a bit odd that a hard brake could result in that. I had my ABS module fail on my Infinity G20, when that failed it was a high frequency sounding squeal.
