    Brembo has released a new product for Audi RS3 (8V) and the Audi TT RS (8S). Convert the factory Audi calipers into GT-S track day 6 pot calipers that include inner and outer seals and racing style piston inserts for heat protection.


    Kit includes:

    • Pair of GT or GT-S 6 piston monobloc calipers
    • Choice of high performance (FM1000) or street/track day pad (TS20)
    • Aluminum spacer
    • Caliper mounting bolts and hardware
    • Compatible with stock brake lines and discs


    GT-S 6 Piston Caliper:

    -Internal Dust Seal, Stainless Steel Inserts
    -Black Anodized, Machined Logo
    -Monobloc, Cast

    GT-S available in 1 color: Anodized black

    The GT-S calipers use a twin seal design which utilizes an internal wiper seal to keep out containments, and a stainless steel insert for heat defense.

    The caliper includes pad retaining springs for noise reduction during street use, so even though this Brembo caliper line has some of the main characteristics of a race caliper (monobloc, anodized finish, engraved logo, and stainless steel inserts), it can be comfortably used for normal daily driving with a street compound pad.



    Also available is the GT 6 Piston Caliper:

    -Dust Boots and Piston Seals
    -Painted finish
    -Monobloc, Cast



    GT calipers are offered in:

    Black
    Red
    Silver
    Yellow

    They do have 4- piston Gt-S but I’m unaware if they have a rear fitment option here. These upgrades are not listed on the current Brembo application guide, and are considered a special order part so I’d have to find out.

    They have to sort out the E-parking brake issue for rear fitment. It may be cheaper to look at an R8 retrofit in the rear

    They are Brembo too. Arguably nothing wrong with Oem. These are smaller, 6 pot vs 8 pot, so 18” wheel options will work. Lighter too. They are also track focus in materials and components including the finish.

    There is nothing really wrong with them and upto a certain point (even light track work) they are fine, but there is always people who want something more extreme. Weight savings etc add up, pad selection (although for the level most people will be at there is plenty of good pads out there, including for track) These upgrades are obviously awesome but for most people, a rotor, pad and fluid upgrade is going to be MORE than enough.

    Awesome kits Paul! A must have if I had an RS3. I've run a few 380mm GT kits. They feel so nice and look the business too. I have the caliper literally 3 feet from me on my end table if you want me to weigh it. And a 380mm rotor too.

    12.2 on GTS with easy pad swaps and can use existing Girodisc rotors is a huge win. Just need to justify this cost in my head....

    10 more lbs off of my front axle is amazing.

    How much do R8 calipers sell for? Anyone sell their RS3 calipers yet?

    Not the most appealing shape caliper on the market however Brembo knows what they are doing.
    8V RS3 [email protected] mph (ran a few 11.7s stock and ran 118+mph several times)
    8Y RS3 k&N filter ran [email protected] (ran 11.6 5 times and trapped 120+ several times)
    at 3100ft elevation

    Installed the GT-S M6s recently. Pad swap is not as easy as a top-loading caliper, obviously. The monoblock cross-piece means unbolting the caliper bolts and sliding the full caliper off the rotor. The only tricky part was getting the included spacers on to the caliper bolt underneath the caliper so you could then screw it in. Caliper studs will simplify things. I’ve only done it once so I assume I’ll get better at it w/ repetition. So harder than a top loader, but easier than swapping the rears.

    Nothing on the B caliper specifically but looks to be the same as M6 described below and shown in link.

    For these setups you’ll need to remove the calipers in order to swap out the pads. This is done with 2 caliper mounting bolts so the caliper can be removed.

    One other note for anyone putting this on an 8S or 8V: the M6 calipers have a bit less clearance than the stock caliper. Small number of mm, but a set of 18s that used to clear with stock calipers now come into contact with the hub side wheel weights. Will figure out if it's solved by weight placement. My bottom line so far is they bolt right on to stock sized rotors (or, in my case, stock sized Girodiscs) but they have a bit less clearance than stock. Hopefully this doesn't mean going back to 19s.

    The GT and GT-S would have the same dimensions, right? So same potential issue with fitting 18"s?

    Yes same size. The B-M6 is different tho. I have the system schematics and measurements if you need.
