This will place the intake cone under the passenger headlight angled 45 degrees downward, on the forward side of the rad support, exposed to fresh air, 100% out of the bay. Basically sits above the cold side fmic piping (for those with a fmic)

    1) You will need to make either a ~3.25" square or round cut through the radiator support so the 3" short straight pipe can poke through. You do not need to remove the rad support.
    2) You can run a full size filter, yet a short version like this:
    https://images.app.goo.gl/jibSHTzbDLwcY7wN9

In your case you may point need to point the 90 off the turbo towards the headlight area as you're turbo inlet sits next to your valve cover. My turbo sits directly behind the headlight so I point straight down.
Yeah that’s a good idea thanks! I was contemplating deleting the AC freeing up some space and little weight. Having AC in the summer is really nice though, but I don’t really daily it much anymore so it wouldn’t be the end of the world.

For thought, you don't gain anything but lose alot deleting AC. The AC system will not be in the way of the ic pipes or mentioned intake.

EDIT: You're not going to be noticeably faster or now beat cars you couldn't otherwise.

Haha yeah I knew it wasn’t going to make me any “faster” but it sounds like more trouble then it’s worth. For that intake setup would I add the maf in as the short straight in between the 90 off the turbo and the 45 ?

If running a DV you buy a T straight with a ~1" nipple and place it were you see mine:
    https://images.app.goo.gl/Sek5yGTT6uRq6AYb7

If not running a DV place the maf in that location as will get a chance for the air to even out. When air goes through a cone filter the inside flow is turbulent/non linar...further away from the cone by the time it hits the maf gives it a chance to even out. However, I haven't seen issues yet other set up people have, having the cone off the maf.

Or, if you want to be trick and run a dv, buy the Tee straight and weld a maf flange ($10) in front of the barb: https://images.app.goo.gl/22tKCrhCuvywLT9f8

You'll still need a small straight down towards the bottom, but will be blank if you weld a maf flange to the T-pipe (maf MUST sit into of dv).

Basically you want the MAF as far from the filter as possible , DV far from the MAF as possible , but the MAF as far away from the turbo wheel as possible too, balance them out. Good thing with Bosch MAF's is that they can measure reverse flow so if one of them is not perfect it will work but dont place them too close together.

Started getting an exhaust leak the other day decided to mess around with it yesterday and found this...
    IMG_2780.jpgIMG_2778.jpgIMG_2776.jpg

I ordered some new flanges, going to drop them off at the boost source once they are in. I’m thinking about dumping it out the fender lol

I also received my new steering wheel from Reggie’s customs wheels earlier this week, I’ll probably stick it on over the weekend.

It was really just a low rpm exhaust leak like a ticking noise, once the gate opened up you couldn’t hear anything else lol it was getting worse and worse throughout a few days of daily driving though

So I finally had some free time last weekend to get some stuff done to the wagon
    IMG_3374.jpgIMG_3384.jpgIMG_3365.JPGIMG_3372.JPGIMG_3377.JPG

I got a new 60psi aem boost gauge installed all of my gauges in the center vent on an aluminum plate and used some caliper paint to try and match the rest of the interior lol
Used some wrinkle red on the valve cover it I happy with the way it turned out, also got a few black caps for under the hood from ecs. Should have my new manifold soon, I was a little pissed when I saw IE released a few more Intake manifolds and but whateverrr

Thank me later. I spent a fair amount of money on gaskets and different setups (ie Trackspeed Inconel kit with Stage 8 turbo nut kit, Stage 8 turbo bolt kit, Cometic gaskets, etc). After years of trying different configurations, this route works trouble free. Nissan OEM T3 gasket, the thread lock in the link, and better hardware if you choose (I run ARP Stainless Steel M10x1.5 10-point head bolts). I don't even have to check my setup periodically. Went for a drive few months back on the backroads hard with a few other's (read: hard). I fractured a weld on a section of one of the runners on my turbular manifold. But the T3 flange and everything associated...still intact.

The road has a turn that comes up I didn’t want to be doing 100 going around it haha

Its not really my daily anymore so I’m gonna start having a little more fun with it

The plan is to get a new tubular manifold and vband everything sooner then later, so I’m not to worried about it.
