Instead of a fixed wing on TTS...

Am I wrong for considering this for my wife’s car? She wants a fixed wing, but I’m wondering what this lip would look like with the wing activated.

A good middle of the road enhancement solution. Actually many manufacturers offer same OEM (e.g. Ford Mustang) to enhance the trunk/hatch line without going full elevated spoiler.

Of course with it deployed you're going to see more of the lip in the rearview mirror, but again not as much as a fixed-elevated spoiler.

This double stick tape application would also be easier to remove to stock if she changes her mind over time.

I'm just going to put it out there that I find fixed wings to be flashy and pretentious, and that I think the TT looks better with the adaptive wing.

Although I can appreciate your opinion, I find the back of the TTS looks a bit bland. A small wing or even the stick on variant pictured above give it a nice aesthetic boost. The adaptive wing up, makes the car looks much better than when its recessed.

So do I, but I'm trying to see this subject from another perspective. Then again I just optioned my way thru the 2020 TTRS build site and still selected the adaptive.

I had this on my 2018 ttrs and now my 19 everybody has his or her opinion of what they want , it’s a great product I’m happy with
