NEW 2019 RS3 OWNER WITH QUESTIONS ON PLATFORM

Hey everyone, so a I recently sold my 2018 Subaru STI with full bolt-ons and upgraded stock location turbo. I made 483whp 430tq which I knew was pushing the limit with the weak EJ25 engines that is notorious for blowing piston rings and etc. Anyway I knew my only option for more power was to fully build the engine and most likely step into the realm of reliability issues , so I did as much research as possible in what was out there and surprisingly the Audi RS3 is making a big bang in the performance world. What even surprised me even more was how much power the stock internals can handle, which reminded me of my 2014 Evo . Apparently these engines can make 650whp 550tq on a stock block, anyone know the limit on these engines before having to fully build them? I have a few questions I would like to ask everyone

    1. My plan is to get the Unitronic Stage 2 E85 MAP utilizing with Stage 2 TCU(STM FMIC, STM single exit titanium turbo back exhaust, Mid pipes, Unitronics new CAI, 4 inch inlet, Unitronics injectors) Question is what are people making on stage 2 E85 on a dyno? Unitronic rates crank hp of 621hp 564tq,

    2. Since I plan to stick with Unitronic, anyone have any recommendations as to why Hybrid turbo will get me to the 650whp goal?

    3. Anyone running IROZ motorsports BIG TURBO kit on a stock block out there? Dyno numbers?

Thanks guys for the help ! I am definitely excited about this platform

For #3 - check out malaka motorsports YouTube channel. They were running a IMS850 for a while with stock internals before building their engine over the past few months. Lots of good content on their channel.

    1) almost every dyno result I have seen from customers have been different (different dynos, different operators etc) This is why we publish the results all from the same dyno in a controlled environment to give you an actual representation of power gains over stock

2)again, depending on the dyno, almost every hybrid on the market will make around 650whp, some less and some more.

    3) there were some users out there who had this, in my opinion the full frame and larger hybrid turbo's should only be installed on a car with a built motor. The relatively low cost to build compared to the expensive cost to buy a replacement just doesnt make any sense to not build.

feel free to shoot me a pm with any questions.

    thanks,

    Brian
