In 5 years I never found the time to look into the AC as I always wanted to buy some gauges and learn. Sale prompted me to get it looked at and all it needed the entire time was a professional fill. FFS. Not like the PNW is boiling hot but certainly a few days in there where AC would have been nice. The desire to DIY has led me to great places, but certainly bit me in the ass here thinking my mole hill was potentially a mountain. Oh well.
And with that being said... She's sold. I'm waiting for a shipper to pick her up as she'll be trading coasts. Very bittersweet. Sure I'll have some very cold feet when the truck shows up to escort her on.
It has been an absolute blast and I have loved every minute building her. Didn't really have a plan when I bought her, got the bad news her 2.0t was garbage, then just kept making good decision after good decision. Few hiccups, but every speed bump led to a new solution and made some good friends along the way. That community support has been there all along and just wanted to say to everyone who followed, posted, replied, or even just stopped by to take a look it was noticed and appreciated.
Fast wagons are dope and it was fun to bring something to life that Audi NA neglected to share with us. Y'all were a part of that journey and it's not lost on me how much that matters. I convinced my wife this would all work out LONG before I actually knew it would so thanks for having my back and helping me keep that promise.
The new owner seems like a very solid guy, an Audi/wagon enthusiast, and generally the perfect person to continue her journey. Excited to see where he takes her (as much as any ex can be lol).
Last pics from our last few rides.
Thank you all. Longroofs ftw always.
