Anyone try koni red's? The newish version of their active damping?

Ive read all the threads that popped up searching and most of them people just said " no, but i have these shocks or these coilovers and they're great"....Thats nice lol but wondering if anyone actually tries these out because my stock shocks are toast and just looking for an oe replacement that's a bit more expensive, better performance without sacrificing much ride quality, and not looking for a drop or coilovers currently

I have them on my S5 with H&R OE springs. They genuinely are smooth when you want them to be and aggressive when you are. IMO a huge upgrade to OEM both in ride quality and handling (at least in combo with the springs). I really did not want to lose performance, but the appeal of a slightly softer ride lured me in. The S4 will get a set when it's time. Well worth it.

I had a ton of interest in them but decided to go with Solowerks S1 coilover kit. I think they would be amazing with 034 Motorsport springs. From what I can tell they were designed for a small drop. I am very happy with my decision but I think the tech in them is awesome

Yeah, having had coilovers if you value ride quality these will not disappoint compared to coilovers. Also if you're not into the adjust-ability of coilovers it may not be worth it for you.

If so, I've been on them for a few thousand miles. I replaced mine when I did the control arms. They seem fine.

I have genuinely shit roads where I am. This is what you'd recommend for a little drop, a handling improvement, and not shatter my spine in the process?

This is interesting, because I hear that the Yellows with a mild drop ride horribly compared to Bilsteins.

Yes, I live in a very rural area and it's a good ride.
