adding awe resonators to stock DP

Guys looking for some input and help on this. I'm already running the AWE Touring with stock DP. I have found a pair of resonators from a set of AWE resonated downpipes. The previous guy had them deleted from his res AWE downpipes to make it just like the non-resonated version to go louder if that make sense. So he just selling the resonators itself. I couldnt find a similar case so here's my question. If i was going to go a exhaust shop and make them fit on my stock DP would that sound just the same the AWE resonated DP? Or better yet make a custom DP in stainless and fit the AWE res on it. Let's not forget stock dp is 2.25 diameter and AWE is 2.5. I'd do it mostly for cost saving but want to do it right, i did already planned to buy res DP at some point before this.

    lol. completely irrelevant
i think you may run into some issues trying to put the AWE resonators in not just due to the pipe diameter, but also due to spacing between the pipes themselves and the reso's touching. not sure though. having been down the custom exhaust route a few times, sometimes buying and off the shelve solution is less headache and within spitting distance cost wise. you could also try vibrant our magnaflow resonators that have 2.25" piping to avoid any issues there. just a thought. good luck
