Winter wheels - sizing, need help!

Hey community. I have a 2019 q5 sline progressiv. I’ve been looking for winter wheels but keep finding owners of the 2015-2017 models (the q5 has changed as of 2018).
I am wondering if wheels that fit earlier models would always fit the newer model.
Here is one for example: Audi says it’s supported until 2017 but can not confirm forment for 2018/2019. Why wouldn’t it fit??

Both are interchangeable, with only minor differences in offset.

Thanks @sqiveWould a difference in offset require spacers? Or would the wheels in the like directly fit on a 2019 q5?

Direct fit. Spacers would only be for aesthetic reasons.

Would these also be a direct fit for a 2919 q5?

Honestly, 8"/ET39 spec looks better suited for the B9 than for the B8.5. I think you'd be happy.

That said, have you considered buying used/take-off wheels, or even aftermarket wheels from the likes of Ben ([email protected])? Significantly much better value for your money. Good luck....
