DD Suspension for B7 RS4 Conv

Currently have Stasis/Ohlins Coilovers w/ reservoirs but they need to be rebuilt now and finding out that this is pretty much an annual event. I will keep them but wondering what folks would recommend as a second set of shocks that are still performance oriented but a little more durable in that I live in the country where most of the roads are all chewed up. Appreciate any and all feedback. TX!

P.S. For those folks looking for a place to rebuild their Stasis/Ohlins Feal no longer does it but Ohlins recommended RE Suspension in Mooresville, NC and they have good pricing and the best estimated turnaround time. 704.664.2277. Ask for Donny...hope this helps.

KW V3’s, haven’t read or heard anything negative and they don’t require frequent rebuilds like the öhlins

Why do you need to rebuild every year?

I have had KW V3's for about 6 months, they're great.

Loved my V3's, the stainless steel holds up great against salt/snow in the winter months as I see you live in PA (assuming it's a DD).

Stasis is in business again and located at Summit Point Raceway in WV. I have the Stasis/Ohlins myself and hoping they can do the rebuilds there.

I had my Stasis/Ohlin Motorsports rebuilt by Feal suspension in 2015. 4 years and handling superb as the day I installed them. The ohlins rebuild schedule is a little blown out of proportion on the forums, as are many things i.e. carbon clean every 10k lol I think KW V3 has the durability hands down. No coilover is going to match the DRC in comfort, but it's a worthwhile compromise. You'll be happy with some new V3's and that is what I'd recommend.

You should get the JRZ’s that were up for sale so we can compare those to what Matt has

I would also recommend KW V3's as well, feel free to shoot me a PM to check on pricing. Bilstein would be another great option but i believe are still on world wide backorder with no definite ETA.

Of course JHM recommends KW's, as they don't sell Ohlins.

Bilstein PSS9 is my rec. Silent for the past 30k miles, VERY balanced ride quality. I always get compliments from people who track cars on a regular basis. Still going strong with no signs of a rebuild in sight
