    Life outside of the 1/4 mile dragstrip: Dragy & Racelogic results thread

    Hey guys,

    I thought I would start a thread that deals specifically with 0-60, 60-130 mph & 100-150 mph times. I'll have a list going and continually updating it similar to the 1/4 mile spreadsheet found here - - -> CLICK ME

    For submissions, you must use a GPS-based performance meter with a relatively speedy GPS reflash rate. Using your phone for a GPS signal + an App from your app store doesn't count as your phone has a slow (1-2Hz) GPS refresh rate compared to products such as:

    Dragy GPS performance meter - - -> CLICK ME!
    Racelogic VBOX - - -> CLICK ME!

    These two boxes have been the "gold standard" as they have 10-20Hz GPS refresh rates to produce accurate time-to-speed mph times and also gives the slope angle of the surface throughout the acceleration run, however other high-refresh rate performance meters are allowed as well. A P3 or other OBDII-based devices do not count as they are not as accurate as the ones mentioned above. I think to keep it fair and consistent, you must post the following:

    -photo of the 0-60, 60-130, 100-150 mph time, 1/8 mile, 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile etc etc...
    -the density altitude w/ wind direction, and your direction traveled
    -post your performance mods only

    **Your incline angle must not be above 2%, and your decline angle must not be below -1%, anything above or below this threshold will not be posted for the sake of consistency** Dragy will not "verify" your runs if the angle is greater than -1% and will stamp it as "invalid," so you basically just need to show a run with that stamp. I'm not 100% sure on how the Racelogic Vbox handles it; I believe it simply displays the surface angle, in which case you will need to take a photo of it.

    Stay safe guys! This thread is not to promote dangerous driving and all runs should be done in Mexico or a closed course (disclaimer)

    I'll go first as an example of the formatting, and I'll eventually compile a spreadsheet:
