Tried starting my car again today. Nothing. I checked for power at the crank, cam position sensor, coil pack connections, all good there. There is no CEL light on when the key is in the ON position. Cooling fans both run with key in ON position, they do not run with key out of ignition. It cranks like crazy, but nothing. I pulled the coil packs and checked for spark.... nothing.
I check every fuse in the car with a continuity meter, all good. I'm down to relays or ECM. I'm scratching my head, I dont get it.
I will add that the hard coolant pipe from the auxiliary water pump to turbo was rubbing the cable on the back of the alternator, I saw sparks, unhooked the battery and covered with wire loom. After that I drove the car 5miles home. Since then I haven't been able to start it. Any help is appreciated.
