Had the front valence, side sills in aluminum paint matched to the rest of the car. Really happy with the look from it.

    This thing is awesome!!

Saw it was up at Lime Rock, we hope to see it at our Cars & Coffee events this summer - or at least at some shows in the area!

We are working on finalizing our show schedules as I type this

Thank you! This summer I expect to be attending a bunch of shows with it. Some changes by then too. BBS mounted, roof box, possibly some other secrets too

    Hope to see y’all again!

Bit the bullet from @mops@nemesis for the Unitronic Stage 1 + Tune :) Very excited for the extra power, especially matched with all of my other components (Intercooler, DP, Intake, etc) “PowaWagon” I think would be a good name Will be getting some times, and probably a 0-60 for everyone to see the power.

Side note, I’ve heard that TCU flash is incoming and about to be released for us 7 Speed DSG drivers, excited for that combo.

Right now, had the car into Detail Masters of Stratford CT for full frontal PPF and 5 year ceramic coating. Highly recommend Danny and his shop, great guy with a true passion for cars. Looking forward to getting it back, to stare at during my in home quarantine :D

Hope everyone stays safe! Expect some more activity on the thread as I work with the car.

The car looks amazing! Excellent work with it.

Where did you order the black optics grill? Does the standard A4/S4 Grill fit the allroad bumper?
Did you paint the OEM door handles or purchase new ones from an A4 sedan? I am wondering if the chrome covers up nicely or if it is a separate chrome piece? Do you know of they just slide off from the outside?
Do the stock tires rub at all with it lowered? Did you change the ride height from the BBS wheels?
Totaled by a mall crawler: 2017 A4 Allroad Premium Plus - Moonlight Blue Metallic
Ex-wife got it: 2015 Q7 Prestige - Daytona Grey Pearl

The grille was painted by TAG Motorsports in California. Audi doesn’t make a black optics grille for the B9 A4 allroad, so I attempted to have one created to mimic a black optic version. All of the chrome slats are held in with clips, and can be removed from the grille for painting.

The door handles where painted, I bought all new primed units and had them painted at a body shop. The install was very easy, they unclip from the handle. I did not attempt working with the original handles.

Stock tires I have no rubbing, but I’m also on ABT HAS, not at their lowest setting. Sold my BBS but have a new set of wheels going on that I will be posting shortly about. Will probably change the ride height to accommodate for them too.

Thanks for the details. Do you happen to know the part numbers for the door handles that you ordered? Are they from an A4 Sedan without the chrome?

Yes I can pull them up for you. Keep in mind there may be variation because of the options your car has (puddle lighting, keyless entry etc..)

Damn, that's gonna look hot! I love the concave. I'm definitely jealous of the extra room for width and lower offset on the Allroad.

The springs are great. The install was pretty lengthy, and from what I heard from the installer they where of very good quality and design. They have a wide range of lowering heights, and I think can go quite a bit higher/lower if I wanted.

Do you have the part number for the RS4 roof rails? Did you install? How much of a pain is it to drop the headliner to get to it?

The install took about 6 hours, including reinstallation. I HIGHLY advise having this done at a dealership or other reputable service center. It’s a pain, but with that said- The rails are so special, and I love the look from them.

We added some plastic spacers and longer bolts. I believe AWE sells them, I called and they knew exactly what I meant.

    Hey,
I think I saw your car at Avantober fest this year! I was one of the Volvo boys crashing the party in my silver V70R (with the Swedish flag).
I am picking up my own B9 Allroad Friday and I am comparing my lowering options. I was wondering what, if any, issues you had fitting the HAS kit on the Allroad, as none of the vendors have it listed as compatible and I am wondering why.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

You probably did! I think I was parked right near a bunch of Volvo’s (I think next to a Gray S60R). I recall seeing a silver V70R too!

Many of the manufacturers don’t have any listings regarding compatibility primarily because there is such a small market for just allroad owners, and most companies do not have a vehicle to test fit.

With that being said, I know of three people stateside running a form of the KW coil-over. Myself, I run the ABT HAS- which is basically the KW unit just slightly on the softer side of things. I’ve been very happy with it, and the range of adjustability is great from it. The KW kit is also really good, just a little more stiff.

All US spec allroads (not including Canada) come standard with the electronic dampers with conventional springs. These shocks have the same diameter (I want to say 50mm) as the B9 S4 models with electronic damping. Initially going in I was unsure if it was going to fit, but the installer was able to make it work, but we had to use the factory bump stops. I haven’t had any issues and the ride is great.

Hope this helps, and looking forward to the 2020 event!

Began retrofitting my alcantara door panels to the car. Also added these “Audi Exclusive” inscriptions to the door. Had to drill into the back of the panel and attach then with a self locking washer.

I think the worst part of all of it, has to be the interior lighting. All the fiber optic pieces are very fragile and easily damaged.
