Built engine hard to start, fouled plugs after 10mins of running

Just got my engine together, A3 BPY. S3 injectors and Autotech hpfp upgrade. Using Eurodyne Maestro editing suite. It's very hard to start, I definitely smell gass while cranking but it wont fire. I pulled plugs after about 10mins of running and they were fouled already. I'm not sure why. Now after driving it home, it just cranks and cranks. I haven't pulled the plugs again but I'm sure I'm gonna find more fouled plugs. Any ideas? Its flashed to stage 1 now, do I need to put it at stage 2 for this setup to start better? Any ideas are welcome. Here is my engine mod list, it's a good bit so I'm hoping somebody here has more experience in real time with a similar set up.

Yes in a way I'm sure, down to tune as far as I can tell.

Are all the plugs fouled or just one? Maybe an injector failure in the open position?

Injector seal failure at the intake manifold? You shouldn’t smell fuel in the cabin...like at all. Figure out where that’s coming from and maybe you solve this quick.

And your car should start and idle with a stock tune so it doesn’t really matter what “stage” you flash it back to. Stock would be best to eliminate any tuning issues. But you’re smelling fuel so I doubt it’s software related.

Found a fuel line I didnt clamp on good enough and it seeped when cranking. That's fixed. All the plugs were fouled, some a little worse then others but nothing notable in difference.

I don't know how to tune for it but your runner flap delete is likely contributing heavily to your starting issues if you are not specifically tuned for it. I would also assume you may have more than one issue but eliminating the runner flaps will make the car very hard to start even when everything else is in order.

AFAIK the runner flaps should not affect anything at all removing my buddy has them removed on per advice of my friend who is a tuner for one of the major companies for Audi performance mods.

Been running this way for over a month now no issues at all. I have heard of other people deleting them on b6s back when I had 3.0 and never heard of any issues except a slight tiny slight performance loss which is not even really noticable.

Thanks for the tips, I've had the runner flaps out much longer then alot of the other mods. The only time it runs poorly with the runner flap delete is during the 90 sec warm up period. APR has a specific tune for it. I how ever run Eurodyne. Regardless the delete cause no I'll effect except a little flutter for the 90 sec, then it leveled right out.
I got the information for the S3 injectors, and have put it on stage 2 to compensate for the hpfp. I had a member of the forum that worked with revo to walk me through some stuff. Apparently the front 02 sensor not being in can mess with it pretty bad. The rebuilt engine turns over smooth and sounded pretty good when it was running. Should be able to give it another try next weekend for start up. Still scratching my head why rpms aren't showing on the tack while cranking. No codes. So gotta sort that out.
