Just need some thoughts on this a6 buying for $38k cad has 22000kms on it.

I been reading on the 3.0t engine some say it burns oil when i checked the oil level in the mmi it was at minimum should i be worried?

also anyone know if the maps can be updated actually read that it can be done with sd card, i live in canada.

i drove it hard for an hour didnt hear any creeks noises from brakes suspension etc.

I am coming from a 2015 bmw m4 that was totaled in a driver side t bone collision by a 16 year kid could have been front impact collision had i not manuevered to the right, looking to start a family and sold my wife’s c class benz because we both work in the same tower downtown....

Car fax report is clean dealer did a ‘25,000 mile’ service includes brake flush. And the Audi CPO certification.

would love to hear thoughts about the a6

I have a MY16 with 70k miles on the clock and never had an oil consumption issue, using the MMI as the gauge. The oil has to be warm to get an accurate reading, so if you have warmed up the car, then let it sit for a few minutes, and it is still showing Minimum; yes, I would be somewhat concerned. There is a massive thread on your map update question - https://www.audizine.com/forum/showt...t=maps+updated. $38k seems a little high of a price for the year and CPO, even with only a little over 13k miles (22000 kms) - at least in my neck of the woods. Absolutely love the A6 - plenty of power for a family sedan, ride is very smooth, looks incredible, decent gas mileage (avg 25mpg for me - hwy driving). You will love it! Smart move with CPO, but more than likely wont need it with this car. I always love to negotiate a great deal, so I would see what you can do on the price.

OP was saying it was CAD so in USD that's good.

I don't think I've read about any issues with oil consumption in the C7.5 engines. Only thing to really look for is issues with tires, brakes, and rotors. Since it's CPO you can ask for the CPO certification that gives you measurements for those items. CPO states that those items must have at least 50% life left in them.
