    DAZA engine in 2019

I though the 2019 RS3 was supposed to have the DNWA engine but my 2019 has the DAZA engine. Can anyone with a 2019 confirm what engine is in there vehicle?

2019's in NA have DAZA engines, 2019's in Europe have DNWA. You lucky bastards! :) It does matter, because DNWA engines have GPF filter stuck on the downpipe, which makes it incredibly hard to tune and car has almost no proper sound and it feels slower as well :P

Sorry if this is a stupid question but can't you just remove the GPF filter and then get a real tune with pops and bang?

Technically you could, but ECU is so different that tuners are struggling with it. So no Stage2 tunes for DNWA yet, maybe guys from Unitronic and APR can step in and explain the details..

Our NAR MY2019 DAZA Performance Software is available. We've worked through ROW MY2019 DNWA ECU calibrations and are in BETA testing at the moment throughout EU/ROW. If all goes well, we'll launch DNWA ECU calibrations soon!

Will that be anything for stage 2 and include the removal of GPF filters? If so, it might be worth waiting for me, if only stage 1 is going to be released, then, oh well..

    Folks,

Enjoy this video but please pay attention to what they said and why they think this TT-RS lost this acceleration contest (1/4 mile). It appears that the European ECU emission re-tweeak lefts the car worse. Video here:

I personally thought that it was going to be like this: TT-RS first, Cayman GTS second, Supra third and alpine last. Tell me what you think
8V RS3 [email protected] mph (ran a few 11.7s stock and ran 118+mph several times)
8Y RS3 k&N filter ran [email protected] (ran 11.6 5 times and trapped 120+ several times)
    at 3100ft elevation

Looks like the TT was not even launched, yes I would expect some different in performance but not to get gapped by bus lengths

12.4 sec for a TTRS is pretty bad even for a roadster. Wonder if they are running it on 95 Ron (91 Oct) instead of 98 Ron (93 Oct)

the S ran 12.0@117 with a 0-60 of 3.6 sec according to the car magazines, the GTS has larger turbo. They are very light.

here a Boxster GTS did 12.2@116
