    Lowered A7 tire wear?

Hey this question is for any lowered a6/a7 drivers. Sorry if this has been asked before, could not find a clear answer

I am going to install HR springs on my car (12 A7) I chose HR because i have used them on my other cars and love the ride quality however on my last car I had terrible tire wear despite several alignments I'm just hoping the audi a7 isnt like that. Is it able to be aligned properly to the point where tires will wear even? I will be expecting around a 1.6 inch drop, so somewhat aggressive but not bottomed out. Would this work? Also i have prestige with adaptive cruise so this alignment will be done at the stealership. are they capable of giving a lowered car good specs?

if the tire wear is a nightmare is there any aftermarket suspension upgrades available to fix it?

i'm asking because I don't want to burn through tires as bad as my last car. I've been enjoying the even tire wear and if its not possible to keep that i may have to do the unthinkable.... and remain stock height ( AHHHH)

I had my H&R springs put on around 42K miles in 2016, bought the car CPO at 40K miles, so I have no clue about how many previous miles were on the tires. At first the car only lowered 0.75 inches, to be expected, and the dealership had no problem aligning it. Over those 36K miles the car settled into its 1.5-1.6 inch drop. I eventually had to get new tires at 78k miles with no uneven tire wear. Last May when I had my bearings replaced it still was aligned to spec. I also never once rotated my tires in that whole time FWIW. With my new tires I will because it’s free and the shop is walking distance from my job.

hmm, that's good to hear! I'm on sport suspension, with a more aggressive offset wheel + spacers, and the dealership tech was unable to get my front right out of the "red" on alignment when i installed new tires a few weeks ago. I did notice excessive wear on the inner edge of that tire.. I plan to do regular rotations on these just in case there's still excessive wear in the front. Mind you, i got a lot of life out of the previous ones but the inner wear on that one tire forced me to change them when they got down to 3 or 4/32nds.

FWIW I do not have the sport suspension. I still have the OEM struts paired with H&R springs. When I first had it aligned the tech told me that he had to pretty much adjust it as far as he could. That's why I was glad to hear a few years later that the alignment was still good after it had settled another 0.75 inches.
