The codes have been cleared and the problem still persists for some reason. He just ended up taking it to the dealership, so he'll get a battery health check there as well.

When I find out the problem, I'll post it here.

Hey guys,

Solved the problem. Pin 87 (power) on the ECM Power Module Relay had arced and as a result, was allowing the engine to miscommunicate with the transmission, resulting in all the codes that were displayed. Was a $35 relay at Audi dealership, hope this can help anyone in the future.
