    HELP - muffler delete

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
After all this research I'm planning on deleting the 2 rear mufflers and putting tips. like this: https://youtu.be/hR0eFgxUDrM?list=WL&t=23

Anyone have an idea or inlet size? I know outlet I want either 3.5 or 4".

    And also length?

Can anyone recommend a site other than ebay where I can find good ones? Looking for an aggressive stainless steel look. Either round or tipped.

Definitely not the blue flamer ones.

Just found this video that says that disconnecting the stock exhaust valves hurts the engine and you lose power and voids warranty. Any merit to this??? I was just about to disconnect them when I saw this.

At one time I had my valves unplugged. Had my car in for service at audi and they told me I had soft codes for the valves being disconnected. That is all.

They 100% cannot void your warrenty for the valves being unplugged

Back pressure is needed in an exhaust for NA cars....not so much turbo cars. I think the only reason the valves are there is to control volume and cylinder deactivation drone.

I unplugged the valves today...a little better but still quiet.

I think I want to delete the rear mufflers and try it out for a while.

Just realized in the video this was a c6 car not a c7 so it would sound alot different on a 4.0t vs the v10

On the c7, would I be able to fit two 4" tips on the current rear bumper cutout?

Anyone deleted just the rear mufflers and have a coundclip?

regarding the sound: I've been looking. Nothing available with just the two rear mufflers. Everyone has done a suitcase delete and/or resonator delete as well.

I plan on doing it at either L and G in markham OR NoyzBoyz.
