    Wheel Rubbing Solutions

Hi guys, Iím getting a lot of running from a set of wheels I bought off a friend. Theyíre Rohanna RF1s 20x9 ET25. The tires are 255s and I am rubbing the fender liner and the fender on bumpy roads and every once in awhile on bridges on the freeway. Does anybody have any suggestions on what I should do, or should I sell them?

    Are you lowered?

Those wheels/tires are sticking out almost 25mm more than the stock ones.
Depending on how much they're rubbing you could try to roll the fenders and remove the top bolts holding the liner on.

No sir, stock height. I should have done more research but my friend was offering such a great price I went for them. I think I will roll the fenders though. Do you think 235 or 245s would be better? And is it possible to roll the back fenders? Itís worse on the front, but I really donít want to continue rubbing off the paint.

Your problem is ET25, that's too aggressive for stock S4s. You can try pulling fenders, or have the wheel hub shaved down to Et36-ET40. I'd just sell and get proper fitting wheels.

Thatís what I was afraid of. So you guys donít think that rolling the fenders would work? And how much would be a reasonable charge to get those hubs shaved? Seems like most places wonít even touch my car..

I am stock and run 265s, and the widest 265s at that, and have no rubbing issues. offset is the problem as stated.

Rolling fenders only improve slightly, I bet you'll still be rubbing after. I would also get rid of them and buy a proper fit. Must not be a very good friend if he didn't care whether the wheels fit or not.
