    Unhappy My Q7 Condenser issue

I have a 2018 Audi Q7 I bought a little under two years ago. About 8 months after, my ac went out and they had to replace the condenser because a rock hit it. I looked around the internet and saw a smattering of cases in other Audi but nothing to indicate this was a big problem. The tech also stated that this was not a normal issue. I paid the 2k+ fee and was on my way. About 8 months later the ac crapped out again. Low and behold, another rock hit the condenser. They say that it isn’t covered by the warranty because it was hit by a rock again. I have complained to audiusa because the fact that a rock can get in there and it will cost me 2k every year to replace the condenser sounds like a design flaw. I have had a corolla and an accord and never had this issue. The whole thing is still pending. The dealership keeps calling me and asking if it has been resolved but it has been about a week. I have a loaner and I guess they need it back but I am waiting to hear if they will help out with costs. Has this happened to anyone else?

I'd have to have them prove to me that a rock could possibly get in there with enough force to damage the condenser.
Life has taught me never try to make something idiot proof, they'll simply come up with a better idiot.
I'd agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.
I have neither the time, nor the crayons to explain this to you properly.

They sent me a picture which looks like it. Audiusa said that there is nothing they can do and I am out 2K+ again in less than a year. I had a corolla and Honda and never had these problems through college and grad school. I am very disappointed and frustrated.
