RSNAV install --> Airbag code 9442836 --> cannot clear from VCDS

I recently installed RSNAV on my 2014 A6 (US). During the installation I had to take out the radio and thermostat controls from the middle console...which led to the airbag light coming on.

After completing the install and putting everything back together I've tried clearing the code using VCDS but it keeps coming back.

Does anyone know if there's wiring w/r/t the passenger airbag back that's located behind the radio that I may have actually accidentally disconnected? (I don't know why there'd be any such connectors back there but who knows).

That's the same area of the dash where the passenger airbag warning light is. I'd look into that first.
